Detailed Reviews
We found this gem by coincidence. We have a dog and finding a pet friendly acommodation can be pretty much tough cookie. Nevertheless, back in August 2019 I reserved New year's holidays here and we were curious how it'll be. The apartment-spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable. The receptionists nice, polite, friendly, customer oriented... Especially Zala. She went all and beyond for us! They have their own restaurant Gaj, where served us delicious meal. Excursions around and lots of walking made us even more willing to go to the wellness and massages. All was fantastic and we'll definitely return. Thank you, Zala&co for making our 5 days at most pleasant. We highly recommend it!

This small family owned place has only a few apartments, but they are amazing. Modern, beautifully decorated and with lovely views. They also have a spa with massage (very skilled!) and treatments, hot tub and 3 different saunas, so it's a complete wellness experience. You can cook your own meals in the fully equipped apartments or they can provide breakfast in the bar area - and it was super delicious with a wealth of selection. I'd highly recommend Skok apartments, especially for couples and families.
Currently they are also building bee therapy facilities and few more beehive(!)-shaped apartments, expected to finish in 2016.

I've stayed in Apartments Skok for 3 nights. According to the staff the apartments are open since December 2011. They are newly furnished. I stayed in apartment Violet on ground floor. I loved the colors and modern feel of the apartment. The kitchenette is fully equiped, except for the oven (it has microwave oven). I didn't really use the kitchen as the restaurant is only a hundred or so meters away. I had 1 free entry to outdoor jaccuzzi. That was a really nice treat - relaxing with a view to the forest. The staff was very helpful and kind.

We stayed at the Flip House. Due to the high price (145 EUR/night) and ratings on Booking (9.3), we had high expectations, but were disappointed. We went there for Christmas. 2 days before arrival received an e-mail that breakfast wouldn’t be served due to the Christmas holidays. It was an unpleasant surprise though.
The house is small, we barely had enough space, poorly cleaned, steep stairs connecting rooms arranged throughout 4 floors, barely any storage space/wardrobe/shelves. Only two drawers under the bed, which is not very comfortable to use. Basic kitchen utensils, no drainer, only one kitchen rag. All in all the outside design is interesting, but far from user friendly and comfortable on the inside.
Upon arrival there was no water in jacuzzi, unusual and certainly unseen anywhere before. Then, there was only mild water (26 C) and the receptionist said to wait a while for the water to heat up?! Well, the water didn’t heat up for the whole 3 days so we couldn’t use it! For such price, this is quite unacceptable! Especially since it was winter with scarce daylight and therefore limited outdoor options.
The reception wasn’t open on Christmas day, so we were asked to call them by phone in case of any problems. But it turned out that no one answered or returned a call!? When we complained about the poor service, we got a 10% discount, yet I am still very dissatisfied. It seemed that the owner and staff cared more about their holidays then the well-being of their guests.

We stayed at Medena Vas in house Vili. The place was clean and the design is interesting, to say the least (houses look like beehives). But for 2 persons it's not worth spending 160€ per night. If you have a family of 3-4 then you might reconsider.
Houses have very steep steps though and you need to be really careful while walking around as you might fall easily (especially during the night it can be a bit tricky to get to the toilet).
Nature around is beautiful and you can do a lot of hiking. Breakfast at the apartments is mediocre at best.

Without getting into too much details: what supposed to be a nice getaway weekend turned out to be a horrible experience at the BeeLand. We misplaced the gift certificate and despite having the payment confirmation and the number of the certificate the receptionist wanted to charge us the second night all because they don’t keep a track record of the (un)used certificates. Basically, despite being 2018, she couldn’t check if this certificate was already used or not (obviously it wasn’t).
Considering the house, price and the “very special” treatment we recieved (after we already settled in) we left the village after 30mins.
The house and the village looked nice (also nicer from the outside) though due to unsecured and steep stairs unsuitable for small children.

We are family of five and booked big apartment. We did not want to go to sea, but to spend active holidays. We went hiking, swiming, horse ridding, running... a lot of different things. The best thing is that this apartments has free outside pool for guests so we went swimming every day.

My partner and I were staying in a small house named Vili. It was not cleaned well, the jaccuzzi was very dirty and had a foul smell, the water had not been replaced for a long time and the water was cold, only 33 celsius, when I called the reception to ask about this problem a young girl said that I should wait a couple of hours for the water to warm up and that the water filter is only cleaned once a month?! Well the next morning water had 36 celsius, not much warmer..and for a price of 130eur per night this is outrageous! They did give us a 10% discount but I'm still very unhappy with the service...
The appartment was ok, comfortable bed, but with very steep stairs, not suitable for children as they could fall on the stairs very easily. And also the shower cabin was not very clean as well.
This experience was far from my expectations and quite a negative one.
