The highlight of our trip to Italy. The facility is located in Polesine Parmense a 20 minute ride southeast of Cremona. We took the Train from Venice to Cremona and grabbed a cab outside the train station to get to the castle. There is a Michelin restaurant on site called Ante Corte Pallavicina Relais. A majority of the food served...

I stayed in this lovely hotel with another couple. This is an old mansion with a Michelin-star restaurant! The hotel rooms are furnished in antique style, very comfortable sleeping experience, a fully equipped bathroom shower (a bathtub in the room for those who prefer ...). The hotel staff is very charming You can book a tour to the parmesan factory...

While a little far out of the way, this place is worth the journey! Excellent comfy rooms and sublime food in the restaurants. The gardens and are beautiful and the service excellent. And lastly the culatello don't miss your chance to pick up some of the finest cured meat anywhere.

I kept saying to my husband "this must be the most instammable place on earth" in this fabulous old House with free roaming peacocks, happy pigs and beautiful gardens. We spent 2 nights in 2 different rooms, bit decorated with must attention for detail. Unfortunately the bathroom in the suit turned out to have a smelly problem, but we were...

This was our 2nd visit & it was just as delightful as the first. Staff is charming & helpful. Breakfast couldn't be better & the restaurant is great, the produce mostly from their own farm. Even though it is very rural it is not far from some great towns, like Parma, Cremona, Modena. The hotel is a beautiful old estate,...

Our stay had been arranged for us and when the ten of us arrived we were all so happy to find ourselves staying at such a beautiful country inn. The staff was highly attentive and helpful. Each room of the inn is unique and comfortable. Had a great cooking lesson with chef Massimo which made our stay even more memorable.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel on our way to Cinque Terra. We wish would have stayed longer. The staff at this hotel could not be nicer or give better service. We asked for a tour of the farm and cheese factory (this is a free tour) and had a wonderful tour by Giovanni. He also gave us really...

As we pulled into the hotel, we were greeted by Paolo who whisked away our bags and promptly provided us with a salumi plate and wine on the patio (excellent start!). The wonderful staff, beautiful property (14th century beautifully restored villa) and amazing restaurant provided for a uniquely lovely experience. In addition to the cellar tour, you really get a...

Situated at the river Po in the small commune of Polesine Parmense, metaphorically in the middle of nowhere, in a completely restructured former customs castle of the Pallavicini nobles, this restaurant offers Parmesan food at its highest level of refinement. If you like Prosciutto you should go there to meet the king of prosciutto: culatello. Thousands of culatelli are stored...

We arrived on a Friday and within 15 minutes I was floored with an inner ear virus which unfortunately limited my enjoyment. My family doctor assured me I had contracted some time before my arrival. Response from staff was exemplary with Julia from Reception driving me and my wife to local doctor to get attention. During my illness all of...
