Loved, loved, LOVED our beach days here. Pristine, sandy beach, clear water, not too busy, not too many children (ideal for couples), great service, even better price-quality (€10 for two beds, a parasol and a bottle of water WHAT!) - couldn't be more positive about this little slice of Plaka Beach. Well done guys.
Large room and spacious balcony! Good selection at breakfast. A nice size pool and never had any problems getting a sun bed, someone was always coming round to our sun-beds to offer drinks! The bar offered a good variety of cocktails too. Locations was great just a stones throw from the beach and within a easy 10 minute walk to a quite a few tavernas. Throughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend! I’m sure we’ll return to Naxos in the future and would definitely be staying here again if we do!
We really enjoyed our 6 nights at the Plaza Beach. Decent sized room, excellent pool area (which we hardly used as the beach is only a few yards away) and friendly staff, particularly at the pool bar. Room was thoroughly cleaned every day and the whole place was immaculate.
First Impressions Located in a very peaceful part of Plaka Beach and only 20m from the beach itself. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. There are a number of very good restaurants and small bars but most of them are at least 10 min walk away from the hotel entrance and scattered along the beach road. The Rooms & Facilities. The rooms have TV, refrigerator, hair drier some with a balcony and some with a terrace. Each room has a privet bathroom with all the usual toiletries and the rooms have a safe and ample storage facilities. The rooms are a little dated and the en-suite is old and very basic. The pools are a reasonable size and surrounded by comfortable sun beds. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and a selection of food and snacks throughout the day. The poolside bar serves very good food and drinks all day and in the evening and the staff here are also very polite and friendly. Service. The service here is excellent, the staff are warm and friendly and can’t do enough for you. They are always on hand with good local information for trips. There is a service bus that runs into Naxos town, and stops many times along the beach road, every 30 mins from outside the hotel at a cost of 2 euros pp. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and I would return, it’s a nice hotel with very good service. Service- 9/10 The Food- 7/10 Room - 6/10 Facilities - 9/10 Value for Money - 8/10. Would I return - Yes probably.…
a little more family orientated which is ok the beach is a walk across the road it has a pool and very good pool bar with great snacks and well priced drinks reception very helpful clean room the bathroom was a little dated the bed firm our room faced towards the hills which i was a bit disappointed at first but as it was so hot in the afternoons we had the coolest spot in the shade overlooking the hills and fields and very quiet.great value here also the bus picks you up at the front door its 3 euro for the trip into town and runs every 30 minutes also 3-4 really good restaurants a walk down the road. greatbeach as well with some good waves and umbrellas to hire
Over the last few years we have made several visits to this area and also stayed here a few times. Very nice room, 224, good balcony, nice a kettle now available, although the shower area could be improved. Thanks to George on reception and Nikos at the bar for their helpful conversations, always very friendly. Agree with the previous, breakfast area could be better, no, hot food does not stay hot and the whole area appears to have had little or no change in the last 6 - 7 years. The one evening meal we had was not a good experience and we would not repeat this The grounds are well kept and the beach is just over the road. We did feel the beach chairs at 7 for a set could be free to hotel guests. No need for a car, a bus outside takes one into town from where many services run to other parts of the island. We went further south to Pirgaki beach, good journey in itself seeing more of the locality. Overall we had a good time and would return…
Reception efficient when we arrived. This is a nice quiet spacious hotel. The room, no226, is very comfortable with a kettle, nice comfortable twin beds and a sea view. Everything we need is here. Very comfortable chairs on the balcony which gets the sun all day. It’s clean and modern. The first night we slept very badly as the pillows were too thick, hard and lumpy. We asked for better ones the next day and they arrived within minutes. Goodness knows why they don’t throw the others away, the rest of the place is so good! The fridge and safe are good too. The breakfast is excellent, with everything you could want, my only complaint is that the cooked food is almost cold. Likewise the evening buffet, good food but only lukewarm. The hotel needs to invest in some equipment to keep their food hot. There are some excellent tavernas nearby but street lighting is non existent in places. The best we found was Petrino, not cheap but great food and surroundings and authentic Greek. Across the dirt road is the amazing beach, almost 6km long. Sandy all the way and , though the water is rocky in a lot of places, there are parts where the swimming is perfect. This beach is a Naturist paradise. Thoroughly recommended. …
Really nice and comfortable hotel with very attentive staff. The hotel is opposite the beach and within walking distance of a number of very nice places to eat and drink. There is a regular bus service which takes you into the old town.
We recently stayed at this hotel for seven nights and on the whole enjoyed our stay.I would have said it was good if this grading was available. Our room was large with a beautiful big terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. It was a bit dark with dark furniture which was in good condition but the room would benefit from being refitted, the shower was very small. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were changed regulary. The pillows were very hard and gave us neck and headaches. The air con was excellent. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We liked the pool bar, good service and good snacks if you wanted a light meal. The breakfast was very average, a bit like a canteen, big selection of hot and cold food but not very inviting. The yogurt and fresh fruit were good although sometimes the fruit was tinned. We thought the fruit juice was horrible. We didn't try the restaurant but several nearby taverna's were good. The pool was lovely and we had no problem finding a sunbed. The bus service was excellent,no need to hire a car. We did one day trip around the Island and the coach collected and returned us to the hotel. We liked Agia Anna best, lovely restaurants on the beach and amazing sunsets. On balance we think their are probably better places to stay on this beautiful island.…
We have stayed here for many years now, and it feels like 'Home' to us. An absolutely perfect setting, right on the beach, in a quiet location. This hotel is well maintained, and all the staff are so nice and friendly. The gardens are well maintained, and the rooms are all kept so very clean. Linen changed regularly, and pool towels provided. We have just stayed here for 4 weeks!! There is NO other hotel anywhere, where we could ever think of staying for this length of time. This hotel is excellent, especially for it's tranquil location, tho it also has an excellent bus service into town. This hotel would not suit 'Ravers'.....very quiet.
