We spent 2 weeks at this hotel, booked specifically upper floor room with balcony. What we got was totally different. Ground floor room, with terrace half under the ground. The only view we had was a large tree planted in front of the terrace. When we tried to change the room, the lady in the reception was not cooperative at all. She lied to us that the hotel was fully booked although half the keyboard behind the desk had a lot of keys on it and we surely could see that the hotel was only half full. Her attitude was condescending and she really looked down on us with a malicious grin on her face. We booked a car for two days directly from our travel agency. They informed, that the price was 30 euros per day. When we were signing the papers with the renter he said the price is 33 e per day, that extra 6 euros was going to the hotel!!! For what service?? I did not accept such an intermediate draw. One evening we went for dinner. Meanwhile somebody had gone to our room and had taken one pillow from our bed!!!! That caused us quite a scary feeling. We confronted the reception next morning and we insisted an explanation on this. This same arrogant lady never came back to us to explain what had happened. Maybe the hotel has not enough pillows for all quests, but really; to get one from somebodys room in the middle of the evening!!!! On the arrival day we had two beachtowels in the room, but as soon as next day the cleaners took one towel away and we had to cope with one beach towel for the whole two weeks holiday. One day there were no towels at all in the room, had to go and demand them from the reception. Again.... The other staff at the pool bar and the beach bar were fantastic. They redeemed a lot. Sotiris, Maria, Jannis, David and the lovely young girl whose name we didn´t ask, and all others; thank you for your pleasant serving attitude!!! You rock!!…
Very well looked after on our recent family trip to Aegean Land hotel. Breakfast in the hotel has a good range of dishes. Something for everyone. The staff were a real highlight - anyone we encountered was helpful, kind and friendly to us and our small children. The facilities in the hotel are mostly excellent - pool, bar, beach club and kids play area. Gym could probably use a bit of modernisation, but not a big complaint. Location here is perfect, minutes from the beach and close to all the main restaurants in Plaka. Thanks to Anna for a really wonderful stay, and for excellent Greek hospitality. Would happily recommend this spot
My husband and I spent a few days here as part of our honeymoon, and we loved it! There were many restaurants that were walkable and we had the best sea bass and jasmine rice that I've ever tasted! We accidentally discovered a nude beach during our walk one day, so that's definitely a memory I'll never forget =) We loved the hotel, the bartender told us where to eat, etc and was so friendly and the pool was quiet and lovely!
A clean and modern hotel located on a beautiful beach. The atmosphere was friendly and the hotel manager and her personnel so nice, smiling and service minded. Both the breakfast and the lunch on the beach were top notch. Kids, parents and grandparents enjoyed the stay. We’ll definetely return to this hotel.
Location 5 stars, all other 2-3 stars. Breakfast the same every morning. When small shower gel bottle ends after 2 days it doesnt get replaced with a new one. Soundproof rooms? Nope. Flat screen tv? Yes a 15" 4:3 weirdo. Hard as hell beds. But location to the beach is fantastic! Directed more to families with children, not couples.
Aegean Land has it all: the very best location across the most amazing beach in Naxos; the most professional, warm, and courteous staff; rooms with a view and every comfort; a delicious breakfast buffet; and a pristine, well-maintained, family-friendly property that shines. This is the fifth year I have been staying at the Aegean Land, and it has been getting better every year. It is a beautiful hotel, Naxian structures built around a huge pool and lush gardens. There is a kids' playground and kids' pool, making this one of the most family-friendly hotels I have stayed at. Rooms are airy and have balconies that have a sea-view; they have safes, refrigerators, and - for those of us who need to be connected - a modem in every room assuring a blazing-fast WiFi connection at all times. The beach in front of the hotel is a dream. The front pool bar makes sure everyone is well-taken care of. And a word about the management: Anna, the owner and manager, is everywhere making sure every single one of her guests is happy. This is one well-run hotel, and it is all due to her hands-on management. Highly recommended!…
One of the best vacation in my whole life. The staff was so kind that I can't find words to thank them. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, located in front of the sea. The prices were normal and everyone treated us, as if we were kings!
The room is very comfortable and always clean, the staff is very helpful . Has amazing food with traditional products !It has place for children to have fun!You could see also the amazing sunset!!!!everything near the sea !
We stayed at the hotel for a week with our two daughters age 5 and 8. We had a fantastic time. Everyone from the front desk, to the owner, the beach boy and and the waiters were very polite, helpful, trained and efficient while always smiling and being warm. They helped us with everything we needed, organizing my daughters birthday, ordering the cake, finding a car to rent, suggesting places, giving us extra towels, picking us up and driving us back to the port. Our hotel room was not very big as there were 4 of us but it was exactly what we had booked. It overlooked the beach and always had hot water and was cleaned daily with many towels. The breakfast area was beautiful, very close to the pool and the food and the quality of the breakfast was impressive They served different things, and local delicacies. The pool bar was open throughout the day and it had a smaller pond for our young children as well. The girls had the time of their life. The beach was right in front of the hotel with sunbeds free of charge. There were restaurants, cafes and shops to the left and right of the hotel and a bus stop in front of it. There were buses every 30 minutes. We used one on our last night there. We loved the AEGEAN Land and cannot wait to return. Thank you Anna for making this such a memorable trip for us.…
Didnt stay here but used the facilities on the beach. Free sunbeds providing you buy a drink. Very welcoming and wonderful beach spot. Can order drinks from the very nice chap at the beach. So good we went three times. Don’t pay for sunbeds elsewhere!
