It is not only the rooms that they need to be refurbished , it is the general aspect of "none carries about the custoner". First, to enter to plaka 1 hotel, you need to drive through some pathways of the nearby camping. Imagine if someone is a little bit careless , he will drive over some tents. Then, in the...

Unfortunately we were able to visit Naxos and stay in the Plaka Hotel during the high season (August 2015). Room was good and staff was professionally polite, but definetly not at the level one expects when paying a huge rate. Crazy to have to pay an additional charge for the sun beds infront of the hotel. Our biggest delusion was however...

Greece at its traditional best! We were the first visitors of the season and for a few days their only guests. Water goes off, then the track to the accommodation floods (not their fault)! We paddled thru then boards were laid to get us across. Eventually it was fixed after a lot of hard work. Were we bothered? Not at...

Close to a huge variety of restaurants and entertainment. Nice cafe and good breakfast in hotel. Tea and coffee available in cafe. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would happily stay there again. Highly recommended.

The location is superb at the Plaka with view of Acropolis. The staff very courteous. We stayed here for only one night and it was easy distance to Plaka 200 metres and to the local square. The bedroom was very tidy and neat and we slept very comfortably and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast was basic but we didn't mind...

This is probably our sixth stay at this very central, comfortable hotel. Out the door and you are in the thick of the Plaka. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to watch the lights on the acropolis fade and to enjoy a drink. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the staff very welcoming, the breakfasts terrific. And all very reasonably...

My friends & I stayed at the Plaka on Oct 30-31 this yr and were pleasantly surprised. We picked the hotel on line for $$ really, & hoped we wouldn't be disappointed. It was very nice. Staff were extreme!y accomodating. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but were told to go up to the lounge where drinks & cookies...

This hotel has an amazing location in the middle of the Plaka. The panoramic view from the roof top bar is sensational. We stayed in a deluxe room. Nice size with modern bathroom. Lovely touch was complementary red wine, carafe of iced water and baklava when we checked in. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a very early checkout unfortunately...

We have been going to Plaka for the past 15 years (at least once a year) and have spent time at both the camping and in their studios. If you are looking for a beautiful beach and a very warm welcome by all the family that look after the rooms, camping and facilities, then look no further. Yes, you may...

We stayed at the Plaka hotel/studios without having pre-booked, we got a free transfer from the port and didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised, the studio was lovely, quite spacious with a large, not overlooked, balcony. The price was more than reasonable for the standard. Yes, you had to walk through the campsite but we did...
