4.5 / 5.0 The facility is located in Plaka beach out of crowds of Agios Georgios etc. Nice location but you will definitely need a car. The facility is rather new and well maintained but needs some minor improvement as well. The main highlight of the facility is Marios, the owner/manager. He is a terrific guy, always helpful and attentive. Top notch host. Breakfast is tasty and fulfilling.

I spent about 5 days at Island Escape Suites in early August and was extremely pleased. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with the proximity to the beach a big plus. Also, as this hotel is on the less boisterous end of the Plaka, my stay was quiet and comfortable. What really sets Island Escape Suites apart, though, is Marios. He is the consummate hospitable host and works hard to ensure the comfort and happiness of his guests. From all the coffee I wanted in the morning to a lemonade in the afternoon, he and his staff were tireless in their efforts to help me figure out where I should go to explore, eat, swim or just relax. I smile with the memory of my time there and would return. Thank you, Marios!

Our experience at Escape Island was perfect - the hotel is located 100 m from the beach. A pool could have have been a plus but honestly the beach proximity does authorize this. You have a couple of sun beds proposed alongside the 🏝most of the time w restaurants for lunch and the evening. The owner Marios and his team are working hard to ensure your stay will be perfect. You can ask him where to go or what to visit he is always there. The proposed breakfast every morning is the sole food and beverage proposal and is amazing in terms of choice. It can be a little bit long in the morning but the reason for this is that all is made “a la minute” eggs fruit etc… The rooms are not huge in terms of space if you are three - if so take a Suite. For two it is perfect and decorated with a real taste. The rooms are super clean and the cleaning service really a quality one - bed sheets are changed every day. Wifi works well and important the beds mattress are perfect 👍! At the end after a couple of days you will be “enveloped” with / by the Mediterranean vibes that this place is creating. You will leave in a peaceful way. Again, don’t hesitate if you want a place where you will find an owner who loves his guests and its work spreading always an ambiance that will ensure you with no doubts great holidays ! Mario’s merci beaucoup, see you soon. Alexis de Gallos

Marios absolutely made my girlfriend’s and my trip to Naxos. From the unbelievable breakfast spread each morning to his incredibly resourceful advice, we would stay with him again in a heartbeat and hope you will too. The property is very clean, close to the beach and absolutely beautiful to boot.

we had such a wonderful time staying here primarily because of the warm hospitality by the owner, Marios. This is more of a Bed and breakfast, family owned and run. the breakfast they serve is freshly made from local ingredients...they make their own marmalade from various fruits, and the dessert is homemade by Marios' mom and wife. Their family has been in naxos for generations...centuries...and he told us the land where the property is built used to be a potato farm. the property is walking distance from the sandy Golden Beach of Plaka, but secluded enough that you can hear the birds sing all day long. Marios helped us find a car to rent in Naxos and the car was waiting for us at the port..easy peasy. He also showed us different routes to tour everyday from the secluded cove beaches, to the mountain villages. We were there in mid April when the winds and water was still cold. he suggested we go yo a beach protected by coves so we wouldnt feel the wind chill, and this workrd perfectly for our sunbathing. His restaurant recommendations were on point-- we got to try excellent seafood in Chora, and fresh locally sourced meat in the mountain village. The rooms were cleaned and well maintained. Marios puts his heart and soul into his family business and is always there available to serve and help in anyway he can. We enjoyed all the information he gave us about the island and its history and economy. if you want a personalized stay, with great Greek hospitality, and to be felt cared for and looked after as a special guest, look no further!

Lovely location just off the beautiful Plako Beach. Lots of very good restaurants close by on the beach and it is only a short drive to the restaurants and shops in Naxos Town. Rooms are unique, very clean, bright, and are very comfortable. Marios, the owner and onsite manager, goes way beyond being helpful in making your stay on Naxos eventful and pleasurable. The best personal guide to the island you could ever find for things to do and restaurants to visit. And his mother's breakfasts are absolutely delicious.

Thank you Marios for a lovely stay at your amazing place. The rooms were great, close to the beautiful beach and nice restaurants. Everything was nice and clean, and the service was impeccable! Marios was really nice and gave us a lot of great tips for both sightseeing and restaurants. We only wish we had more time there, so we will definitely come back!

This was our first holiday in almost two years due to restrictions so we wanted to relax and enjoy it and thanks to Marios and his beautiful place we did that ten fold. We stayed nine days and I have never felt the benefit of a break more than this one. Marios, who owns and runs the hotel, is an absolute gentleman and looks after everything you need and was a pleasure to deal with from even before we got there. He organised picking us up from the airport, quad and car hire, a ferry trip and made everything simple. He advised us of the best restaurants, beaches and places to go and was just great fun at all times greeting us with a smile a chat and often a drink. We felt so cared for, by him and his team. We stayed in the honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi that sits beneath the window which we used all the time. Amazing to sit in your lounge room staring out to the blue sky and hearing the wind and waves. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and was so well laid out with a kitchenette downstairs, jacuzzi lounge in he middle with big balcony and then the bedroom on the next level. It was so blissful that some days we didn't want to leave. The location could not be more perfect. There is a quiet beach a short walk down from the suites that stretches for kilometres both ways. There are a number of very good restaurants and bars within a short walk and many have sun lounges on the beach. Naxos is a bigger island so we hired a quad and then a car to get around as it's a beautiful drive up the mountains. Marios serves breakfast every morning using fresh Naxian ingredients and it's a stunning way to start the day. He also stocks his bar with delicious bottles of local wine. We can't wait to go back and relax again. This truly is the Island of the gods.

This is a beautiful establishment near Plaka beach. Extremely private, clean, comfortable, and easily accessible to the rest of the island. The home-cooked breakfast is outstanding! Amazing sunset from your own private balcony. Cleanliness and comfort are my basic requirements from any place; it’s the small personal touches and amazing hospitality that differentiates Naxos Island Escape from the rest, The host Marios goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for making my stay really enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I stayed at Island Escape for 5 nights on our honeymoon and had the most wonderful time. I would highly recommend visiting if you are looking for the most peaceful retreat near a stunning beach, with wonderful restaurants in walking distance and a staff that caters to all your needs! From the moment we arrived, Marios and his team made us feel 100% taken care of - they helped arrange pick up from the port, welcomed us we a delicious beverage, they gave us great advice on beaches and what to see all over the island, set us up with transportation, advised on covid testing sites, served wonderful breakfasts and made our overall experience an absolute delight! The rooms at Island Escape are beautiful and have everything you need, and you are steps away from the most beautiful beach on the island. Highly highly recommend!
