The property is surrounded by lush gardens the area is very well maintained. Staff have been absolutely friendly and wonderful and the views from the room is very beautiful. We stayed at the Secret Garden room which had its own pantry area and living room which was very comfortable to stay in. My only negative comment is the breakfast choices which I do think is very subpar. Given that this place charges rates which is almost equivalent to 5 star hotels, I would expect them to have a better breakfast selection than this.

The resort is very lovely and the staffs were very helpful. We came here before its changing the owner. The lobby terrace is impressive and cozy. We arrived a bit late and the staffs waiting for us. They made a good dinner and reasonable price. The room is lovely, homey and there are plenty of electric slots (loved it). We didn’t try the lower living area but we tried the room terrace with the valley view. Sipping a morning tea and enjoy that greenery were unforgettable moment. The room didn’t have any television which expected you to enjoy their natural surrounding. We just had to use wifi for an urgent event but the signal wasn’t stable however we connected in the lobby was fine and fast. Their garden was interesting and there were a lot of flowers and trees. We preferred to stay here rather than driving back to Chiangmai town on the hilly road. Then the next day we could enjoy many places around that area. We recommend to try their boiled rice for breakfast.

Don’t get me wrong this is a lovely place to have a meal. But it’s all about the views from this place. The restaurant has recently expanded and moved . The food is good but the service takes a long time . But to be fair to them it was a weekend and they had some large parties. It’s a good place to go with a large party , but again be aware it’s a bit slow They might have over expanded and not have enough staff. But I would go again but maybe not at a weekend or public holiday.

Responded Aug 2, 2019
Dear Sir, Thank you so much for your review.. I am humbly admitted that we're quite slow and short of man power from our new expansion. Your comments are value and I will take it for further improvement. Thank you so much for considering to come back to visit us again. Looking forward to welcome you again, Best regards, Sue / Baan Mon Muan

We wanted to go somewhere that is isolated but yet convenient to the city so I came across this lovely resort. We booked Mon Me which has the best view of mountain and large balcony. We stayed there for 2 nights and it's worth every single penny. You can either eat at hotel's restaurant. The con is they close quite early. The food is very good.. don't forget to order pumpkin salad dressing..yummy. If you rent a car, there are many activities you can do there. We did a visit to elephant camp and it was nice. There are many cafe and restaurant for you to choose from. Overall it's a very relaxing vacation.

We went to this resort restaurant at during the New Year holidays where there were also lots of local Thai tourist. However, service remains good and prompt despite of the crowd. Food was of good quality and well presented. Impressed with the view around the restaurant which was among the hills. Very pleasant place to chill out and relax. We also took many pictures of this well decorated and quaint looking place. They really deserved the certificate of Excellence!

This is a beautiful boutique resort, probably fantastic for couples, but we checked in with our 3 young kids anyway. The outlook from near the reception desk puts you in a relaxed frame of mind and the large lounge area there makes you want to just laze about. We were there in December during a cold spell, so any opportunity to laze around in the sun was immediately grasped with both hands. The rooms are perfect for a couple of days. On the negative side the heater did not seem to work too well. The rooms are a little airy as they are not completely sealed. Last orders in the restaurant were taken by 7pm, not sure if this is usual, but it is a little early. Overall this is a great place and i would love to come back again.

Staff is very helpful and courteous (they helped us with the dinner despite late check-in). The place is beautifully decorated, starting from the moment you walk-in to every corner if your room. The lay out is well thought out and even though you get the tranquillity of the hills and staying in wooden huts, you aren't far of from the charging point or hot water kettle. Kudos to the designer of the hotel, it is truly special and ensures a memorable experience.

We heard about this resort from a friend and stayed here for two nights. Baan Mon Sai, the house we stayed in, was spacious and could comfortably accommodate four people (two adults and two children). The balcony was huge, perfect for hanging out in the evening watching the stars. Anyhow, each individual house at the resort is different, some are with unblocked fantastic view of the mountains and some, like ours, face the back of other houses so if you would like a house with the great view, you should check with the resort before. Baan Mon Mek is the biggest house with the nicest view and is usually booked way in advance. I would have rated this resort five stars if the lighting in the house had been brighter and the hot water was not run out so quickly every time we took a shower. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. All the staff were attentive and very efficient. The food at the restaurant was fresh, delicious and authentic. Breakfast was simple but tasty. I especially like the aromatic herbal tea they served. You can reserve the table with the nicest view at the restaurant the night before. That's what we did and made breakfast even more enjoyable.
