Very clean houses with four hotel rooms to a house and a large open area with fire pit. Each room has rustic wooden finish which tends to be very dark. Room power sockets are not the same as other hotels in Thailand. Therefore charging phones etc was not possible. No air con in rooms but not needed as meshed Windows... More

The lodge are into mountains, everything is made wood, little dark with small bathroom. From the wonderful pool you can see the rice fields and the green vegetation around the lodge. At night if there are no moon or there are cloudy, you can hear clearly (near to you) to sing the cricket and others singers all togethers The staff... More

Stayed as a family so had 2 rooms (2 + 3 px). The setting of the bungalows in the resort, totally immersed in the nature surrounding it is amazing. Sit in the balcony in front of the rice fields etc. Staff was friendly, breakfast good. Recommended.

love it here! food - plain especially for Thais. accommodation - basic, no air-con. because all those don't matter anymore at Hmong Hilltribe Lodge. All (or maybe most) of the staff here are Hmongs. They are purely friendly. The place is amazingly very clean. Food is fresh, nothing special but we found it somehow very delicious! What's exceptional here is... More

The good: clean, charming houses with four hotel rooms to a house and a large open area (including a fire pit!). Very friendly staff, tasty food, and short entertainment following dinner performed by locals. My friends enjoyed the pool. Our balcony had a great view of neighbouring rural greenery. The bad: Internet is only available in the lobby/eating area of... More

We spent an excellent weekend here. The accommodation is simple and charming. The view from the pool up to the mountains is breathe taking. We wanted to go for a walk up to the farms in the morning and the manager was kind enough to draw us and map and start us off on the trail. We will certainly come... More

If you want a night or two out of Chiang Mai try heading to this area of Thailand. Stop at the orchid farm in route too. Charming entrance up a short flight of stairs into a main area used for dining and registration. There are porters to carry your bags to your room. The lobby (if you want to call... More

We stayed 3 days at the Hmong hilltribe lodge, and were really happy of our stay. We had Superior room, clean with nice view on the pool and rice fields, all the staff has been really helpful and present whenever needed. They helped us on reorganising some excursions, food was really good, in particular in the evening. The kid enjoyed... More

I come to thai already more then 20 times in 10 year. First of all it was in the middle of nowhere. Have nothing at all nearby. The swimming pool was clean but always very cold. The room was not ant proof, there holes everywhere. You have a bungolow that is split in 4 rooms. You can hear everything and... More

This hotel near Chiang Mai is located in the nature near some Hill villages. It is a great experience to rest there for a night when travelling in north Thailand. Do not expect the quality of a five stars hotel, but rooms are clean, water is running out of the tap, and the barbecue evening with the show of the... More
