We stayed for 2 nights here. The hotel is located out of Chiangmai city about 30 mins by car. Upon arrival we were greeted with highly attentive and hospitable staff. We thought this was probably one of our most amazing welcome experiences. We were lucky to have got an upgrade to rice filed view room. We were taken to the room via a buggy, available upon request 24/7. Our room was overall great. It’s spacious with great view of rice filed. Bathroom was also very big and we really liked the setting of bathtub. The bed was great very firm but we found the pillows provided a bit too soft. The hotel offered selection of different mattresses and pillows to choose but we didn’t know that till later. The breakfast here was great but we thought that it could improve with more selection of a la carte and some local dishes could be a bit more tasty. We enjoyed walking around the resort and great selections of activities. We did bathing a buffalo. The swimming pool is with great views of the rice field. We wish the size could be bigger to accommodate bigger crowd at peak time though. The staff here was very attentive and hospitable making this stay very memorable. Overall we were very happy and would highly recommend.

Dear PatLopaz, Thank you very much for your feedback following your recent stay at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai. I am delighted that you enjoyed yourselves very much and had one of the best experiences in Northern Thailand, in particular your room, the pool, the ricefields and various activities on offer. Noted of your comment on the breakfast offering and I would certainly review it with the team how we could do better moving forward. Thank you for recommending our Resort and we shall look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back to Chiang Mai again in the not too distant future. With best wishes, Anthony

We stayed for five nights in December. We had high expectations for our stay, having heard great feedback from a travel consultant, but the facilities, staff, surroundings, and food really knocked our socks off. The resort is a destination in and of itself. The grounds are immaculate - we loved our daily strolls around the resort. The pools are great, and we appreciated that the resort has an adults-only pool. There was only one restaurant open for lunch and dinner, North, which we originally were disappointed by. That was before we ate there! The Thai and western food was great, and this Four Seasons has probably the best pastry chef we've ever come across at a hotel. The coconut ice cream (not always available) was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The breakfast buffet was great (they were very cognizant of safety) and the morning sweets were irresistible. The restaurant staff were really wonderful. We looked forward to seeing and chatting with them at every meal! The spa prices were lower than expected, and I was there every day. Wonderful facilities and world class services. A number of parks in the area were closed for pandemic-related reasons, but that forced us to just relax and enjoy the resort - and gives an excuse to return! A huge thanks to everyone at the Four Seasons for a really relaxing and amazing experience.

We stayed for 4days and had a fantastic vacation at the FS CNX. All staffs were polite, engaging and helpful with any requests. Activities were superb. Try out clay pottering, rice planting and buffalo bathing. Resort is cleaned and well maintained. Overall, above and beyond our expectations. Best resort in Chiang Mai.

I spent a 4 night stay at the Four Seasons in Chiang May in early December, and it was my first time in the city. I arrived pretty late but was welcomed by the hotel manager Ashok at check in who was delightful. It gave a real personal touch and he offered tons of tips on what to do and where to go. Now I had just come from FS Koh Samui so expectations were high and they never failed to deliver. I was trying to decide which one I liked better and it was a tough choice but I felt the uniqueness of this property along with the service were slightly ahead of Koh Samui. I had a beautiful room upper terrace view with the masterpiece being the special balcony/canopy area which is simply stunning overlooking the rice paddies. Everything about this property is sublime, the pictures you see online do not do it justice, the attention to detail on every aspect of design in the hotel is phenomenal. I’ve wanted to visit this hotel for so long and now I can’t wait to come back. As with all of Thailand the hospitality of the local people, especially at the Four Seasons is really quite remarkable. You can tell the staff are treated very well and want to be there, and also genuinely happy to see the foreign tourists coming back……finally. A few note worthy points to mention:_ 1) The grounds are vast and stunning, including the unique pool settings just beautiful from every corner, incorporating the local design aesthetics throughout. The area around the main pool is something very special. 2) The main restaurant was a big hit and I ate their most nights, reasonably priced, great service and some really good grilled dishes done in the fire pit. The local Koh Suey is a must to try, I had it twice it was that good! 3) Breakfast venue with the seats outside overlooking the rice paddies is a memorable experience and some of the best coffee I have ever had, which goes for Chiang Mai in general, who’d thought it was the epicentre of coffee culture?! 4) The use of the FS app was invaluable and well attended to on the resort, it was a life saver for planning my day and last minute questions - this is a game changer for the Four Seasons until the other chains catch up. 5) The on site excursions are plentiful and fun, you get to really absorb the experience of this unique getaway not to mention getting some great pics and memories! 6) I liked the bath salts and bath was so relaxing, also the spa prices were very competitive so that was nice to try as well. The daily 5pm ceremony by the local farm workers is something pretty special to watch in the beautiful setting. Overall it was a magical stay, one I will not be forgetting in a hurry, I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with their stay at the FS in Chiang Mai, yes it is a little further out but with the advent of Grab (similar to Uber) this is the least of your concerns….. if you want peace, tranquility and the full FS experience you must stay here!

Our stay at The Four Seasons was even better than expected! What an amazing resort in the most beautiful atmosphere. We spent 3 nights in the most basic room and it was just wonderful. Even the basic room was so spacious, had a sala (outdoor patio) with a bench swing, and a nice bathtub with a jungle view. The room was so clean and well maintained, it felt like a new room actually. All the furniture was of the best quality and so pretty. We felt so comfortable there and didn’t want to leave. The service was 10/10. The housekeepers came twice a day and made sure everything was so tidy. They even rolled up our phone charger cords so it looked more tidy. I wish I could hire them for my own home in NYC! The 2 restaurants were delicious. The breakfast buffet did not disappoint and neither did North restaurant for lunch and dinner. We had a lot of food allergies and felt perfectly safe eating there. The staff at the restaurants was so friendly and gave us the best service. Thank you Kun Yu, Kun Ning, Chef Golf, and Kun Art. They also had fun activities for guests such as rice planting and water buffalo bathing. However, I’m not sure how happy those buffalos are just sitting in their pens all day with a few baths from some tourists. The resort is outside of the main town area which is GREAT. So relaxing and really no need to leave the beautiful resort. I would 100% recommend staying here!
