It's not so easy to find but once you are there, it is amazing! The hosts of the villas (Anond, his mother and grandmother) are very friendly and they sure know how to cook! Best food we had in Thailand so far! The villas are on a very touristic mountain, but out of reach of all the noises. This is... More

I so enjoyed my stay at Rangsit Villas...the room, in a traditional Thai house, was huge, a suite really...with all amenities and the most fantastic mattress! The best sleep ever...and to wake up to a delicious breakfast taken in the beautiful sala, what more can one wish for? This place is tranquil, peaceful and beautiful! An absolute must for so... We have been going to Thailand for many years but Rangsit Villas was a revelation. We were enchanted both by the gorgeous secluded location (the gardens landscaped by a Feng Shui master) and the impeccable service. We loved our elegant Thai pavilion, beautifully designed, exquisite in every detail, from the divinely comfortable bed to the al fresco meals served on... More

This is a well decked out private home but with separate quarters for guests. Very quiet, beautiful gardens and pond, amazing home cooked food. You should have your own transport unless you just want to spend your whole trip lazing there, which would be quite possible given the chilled natural surroundings and regularly served Thai snacks!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We like to emphasize privacy, tranquility and comfort, therefore we keep the number of Suites to the bare minimum of two - The Turquoise Suite and the Coral Suite , each in temporary Thai Style with the modern twist and with a theme of it's own. The Villa is set in a lush, aromatic tropical garden above the pond. The open sitting areas command the view of the garden with the mountain backdrop. Owner/Manager/Chef Anond and the Thai cuisine Chef Tiew are at your disposal to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Location. 40 Minutes by car from Chiang Mai International airport, 20 Kilometers from City Centre. 2 Kilometers from Four Seasons Hotel. ... more   less
