Location was perfect, plenty space for parking, excellent Hot Tub. Could help yourself to freshly grown veg. Wifi was limited to kitchen/dining area and struggled in other areas of the property. Some of the decor is in need of a little freshen up. Other than that it was a great base for our family holiday

Thank you for your review and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. This is our first season of letting as a self catering house - we were a guest house before - and we have been taken aback by how quickly the letting weeks have been snapped up. This has put our redecorating plans on hold...

What a lovely spot to stay when visiting Dumfries & Galloway. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast delicious ( local tattie scones and free range eggs ) and Greig and Ahrlene could not have been more helpful. The weather wasn't so kind but had we been doing any serious cycling - the hot tub was there for a soak. We've...

We stayed overnight at Kirkhill in July and really couldn't rate it highly enough. Our beautifully decorated en suite bedroom was spotless with plenty of space for the travel cot we took with us for our little girl. Breakfast was delicious with second portions of everything regularly offered. Plus the mugs of coffee I need to get me going in...

We don't tend to go back to the same place often but this will definetely be the exception. The garden room is relaxing with doors out to the patio area. The breakfast is first class and Ahrlene and Greg make you feel very welcome so that you feel more like a friend than a visitor. They are happy to give...

We stayed there last weekend in The Purple Room which is beautifully decorated & has all the facilities you could wish for including a spotless en suite, beautiful furniture, flat screen TV tea/coffee biscuits etc. The setting is very peaceful & there are great views from the garden. However, it is Arlene & Greig's hospitality which makes this such an...
