We stayed for 4 nights and had a very enjoyable time. 1. Transfers were seamless - checked in at the Bunga Raya office right on Jetselton jetty and everything was taken care by staff 2. A pleasant resort - quiet, relaxing destination. Stretch of white sand beach with shallow water very good for families. Water was nice and clear during...

Leaving the hustle & bustle of Kota Kinabalu behind we arrived at the beautiful Island resort of Bunga Raya. It was first class service from the moment we stepped onto the island. We stayed in a Villa with Plunge pool which was fantastic right on the beach front which was really clean. The snorkelling was lovely, the reef a bit...

WE came to Borneo not knowing what to expect and we choose to stay at Bunga Raya resort. Not only was the resort beautiful but the service was second to none. Everything about this resort was great and I am sure you will not get a better hotel in Borneo. Being a avid traveler and staying in many 5 star...

What a spectacular place to spend some time. We stayed there with our teenage sons (and one of their girlfriends) for four days after climbing Mt Kinabalu. We were lucky it was a little quiet which made it, at times like we had the island to ourselves. The staff were fantastic, although sometimes it took some time to cover the...

Bunga Raya is the only hotel we stayed in during our trip that really surprised me. It’s an excellent, quirky, well executed boutique hotel with 5* mod cons, a stunning setting and a lovely personal touch to the service the staff provide. I am really surprised it is not better rated on Trip Advisor. I regret that we stayed here...

The resort is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The office at Jesselton Point and boat transfer are well organised and you really start your holiday when you arrive there. All staff were outstandingly friendly and were able to organise all of the activities we wanted to do. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Whilst there were...

First off, let me say that this is certainly a beautiful hotel, with great staff who are always friendly and professional. The island setting, the beach and the way the hotel is planned to blend into the environment works very well to make this an idyllic place. Unfortunately, there were some hiccups from the booking which did not start us...

We spent a couple of nights here to finish off our tour of Borneo and it was very peaceful. The staff are all lovely, especially the lady who showed us to our room. The rooms are beautiful, and we spent a very relaxing few hours walking around the property. The beach is beautiful. The food was only OK, it was...

When booking we were trying to decide between here and another resort on the island and I am so glad we chose Bunga Raya. The staff were friendly, service excellent, the infinity pool area was stunning and we just generally liked the feel of the resort. We arrived just on the cusp of wet to dry season and we were...

Stunning resort and surroundings, the most courteous and respectful staff you could wish to encounter. Well maintained beach and grounds, even jungle wildlife pops up to say hello in the form of Hornbill's, wild boar and monitor lizards, all when it suits them of course and not in any way threatening. Exquisite food and plenty of choice. After one and...
