Don't miss this beautiful place. The room, the house, the nearby town and the wonderful hosts make it first rate in every way. Sarah's cooking is superb and so are the restaurants she recommends. We hope to return again and again.

Lovely place to stay, wish it had been for more than one night. Hospitality superb. Well situated for seeing many of the Lot's "must sees". Rainy but you could still see the beauty of the area. Hope to go that way again.

We had a very pleasant stay here and particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, Steve and Sarah's local knowledge, and the comfy beds. Would definitely recommend. The room was very spacious and the pool area was lovely and peaceful too, and good for star gazing at night.

Fantastic B and B in the Lot River Valley. The beauty and accommodations are only exceeded by the hospitality of Sarah and Steve. This is our second stay at Mas De Garrigue and will try to come again in year s to come. The rooms are very large with very comfortable beds. Still so many unexplored places to go that I could come back yer after year and this is the only place I will stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Mas de Garrigue. The buildings have real charm and have been thoughtfully restored by Steve and Sarah. It would be difficult to imagine more idyllic surroundings.

Our room was in a restored barn, and having stayed in may bed and breakfasts all over the world, this was undoubtedly one of our favourites bedrooms anywhere.

The owners could not be more friendly or forthcoming with suggestions on visits and restaurants. In addition, the breakfast was lovely and the dinner night was outstanding.

Go to Mas de Garrigue, you won't regret it.

If you get the chance to stay at the Mas de Garrigue near the town of Calvignac in the Lot River valley jump and run to take the chance! This is paradise, there is no other word. The location, old towns and castles, and surrounding scenery are world-class, but not so well known as to be spoiled. The Mas de Garrigue itself is beautiful from the details to the overall setting. Each bedroom is splendid, and Sarah and Steve are the best possible hosts.

Highly recommended!

This was probably the best place my wife have stayed in for many years. The house itself is beautiful as are the grounds and swimming pool. The 5 bedrooms are all stylishly furnished, large and spotless. The views from every window across open countryside to the villages perched on the limestone escarpment are memorable. We stayed in one of the two rooms in the grounds - next to the pool; having seen the rooms in the house we will be hard-pressed to choose when we visit again - as we surely will.
But the best feature are the hosts - Sarah and Steve. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked so hard to ensure that our stay was both relaxing and memorable. They cooked dinner one evening - using their own pork from pigs they keep on the property. Fantastic dinner and very good value - outside with a fire blazing in the old bread oven.
We cannot recommend it more highly - and I suspect our fellow guests would wholeheartedly agree.

Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer ! You cannot fail to be impressed with this wonderful property , tastefully decorated but also superbly equipped so that you feel at home from the moment you arrive. That feeling is down , in no little part to your hosts Sarah and Steve who's welcome is genuine and warm. Take their advice on where to eat and what to visit. We sincerely hope that we will be able to return again soon and share in the delights of Mas de Garrigue.

We just came back after a 5 days stay in Mas de Garrigue. It has been a pleasure to be there from the first moment to the last. Excellent location, the Lot region is a secret gem. Amazing house with the most confortable and tastefully decorated room that we have ever been. And really important...the bed, so confortable it was difficult to get up. All this is great but would not be the same without Sarah and Steve, the soul of this beautiful b&b. Warm and friendly from the moment you arrive and always ready to help with anything. They know the region and they help you to make the most of it with the best advice. Email the owner directly for reservations, it is the best way to do it and avoid misunderstandings.

We have just returned from a 35 day tour of France and still have glowing memories of our 3 nights at Mas De Garrigue and in the stunning Lot Region. We stayed in many nice places, but what Steven and Sarah have done was just the best of all. They were referred to us by my dentist of all people and I am so grateful for that.

Steven and Sarah were both amazing hosts, the rooms were very comfortable and the large room sizes, room furnishings, bathrooms and overall design all top notch and top quality - this is a very special place. Our daughter loved the pool and Steven let her help feed the horse ('Butterfly'), donkey and pigs each morning - we will never forget that.

We traveled in many regions of France including the Dordogne, and we were amazed at what the Lot Region has to offer. The beauty and scenery was amazing, and it was just less busy than other places. Steven and Sarah also had great tips for the towns to explore - amazing places we would have bypassed that for whatever reason seem to be 'on the road less traveled' but were some of the best places to see - towns like Figeac and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

We highly encourage others to check out the Lot Region and plan on a minimum of 3-4 nights at Mas De Garrigue - it will be memorable.
