My husband and I booked this hotel for 1 night during our honeymoon. The owner, Sophie, unfortunately cancelled our reservation the day prior stating that she had double booked. We had booked our reservation months prior and even offered a credit card for guarantee. Sophie said she didn't need it and would 'remember.' The owner did briefly apologize but that... More

We had a wonderful time at the Verdon Gorge and this was in no small part to the hospitable welcome we received from Sophie at Les Clés du Verdon. We stayed 3 nights and would highly recommend this to anyone planning a trip to the area. The room was perfect, breakfast was served in the garden right outside our room... More

We can't say enough good things about this wonderful B&B. We came to see "The Grand Canyon of France" and were not disappointed. The drive is stunning. We had planned to do a hike but did not have enough time before heading to our next destination. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy all the the area has... More

I can only say good things about this place: * The rooms are spacious, have a modern bathroom and are decorated in a very nice Mediterranean style. * The house is situated in close proximity to Lac Sainte-Croix, only ~15 minutes by car from Moustiers and the canyon and surrounded by a lovely garden. The host, Sophie is super kind... More

For my husband to notice and call something the "best ever" is nothing short of a miracle, but as we were leaving our overnight stay with Sophie, he turned to me and said, "You know, we've been all over the world, and that's the nicest place we have ever stayed." Our room was homey, spotlessly clean, and Sophie had thought... More

While visiting Lac de Saint Croix and Gorge Verdon you must enjoy the best B&B we had (4 couples). Sophie, her mom, the neighbor, where above all expectations. Large and clean rooms, Great hospitality, great breakfast. The 9.3 rating (before this review) is very justified. We even wanted to change our plan and to stay another day but 4 rooms... More

I chose this place after looking through many hotels in the region and was not disappointed. It is in a good location for going to the lake as well as for exploring the gorges. The rooms are beautifully decorated and while it looks quaint, the rooms are well equipped and modern, as well as spacious and clean. Sophie is a... More

Le Cles du Verdon is really nice place to stay if you are going to explore Gorges du Verdon. It's located in place, which is a good start for all exploration directions. Or you can go to the beach, which is in 10 minutes walk. Sophie, hostess, knows the region better, than all the guides and always can give a... More
