A bit disappointing, shower didn't drain very well and overall looked a bit tired. Had all the amenities so helped make the stay OK. Good view of the ocean and a ten minute walk to the shops and restaurants.

Run down, dirty and unhelpful staff, if they ask you if you would like to stay at the "villa" at the back...say no! The mattresses have stains, the bathroom wasn't clean, the lawns were growing over the stairs, felt unsafe and dirty . Still waiting for our refund from 10 days ago, they keep saying it is with the "accountant"...Assuming we are not getting our money back.

We booked based on the photos BUT that was not what we got. Photos must be the one refurbished room - the place is a dump !!! It is old, run down BUT worst of all DIRTY !!!! The shower was disgusting - like I'm talking slimey !!! The entry door was hard to open - thank God there was not a fire. The Sky remote would not work and when I ask the girl about it, she said we have a lot of trouble with those but did nothing. We were told to park on the road as it was impossible to get into the car park. The guy in reception was rude and unfriendly. All in all an awful experience and we would NEVER stay here again or recommend it.

We noted some poor reviews of this motel and were wary booking but took a chance as it was only one night. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! Arriving late after a day of rain we stepped into this mansion!! We had a beautiful family apartment with loads of space. The place was spotless and comfortable. We didn't want to leave! Very easy walk to the town in one direction and beach and mount in the other. On site parking (think it had to be booked). I would definitely stay here again.

We booked based on pictures and overall they were close enough. Staff kindly opened the room for us as we were running late, however we are going into winter and the small oil heater didn’t cut the mustard. The bed had electric blankets, however we don’t sleep with them on and the bedding itself was still set up for summer. Our room had no spare blankets so although being a quiet cosy location with view we did not sleep warm. On the second day went into the office and asked for another couple of blankets. The gentleman in charge provided a single bed duvet cover that barely covered the double bed. Remembering I had a couple of small blankets in my car we brought them inside and slept much better the second night. Overall inside was well presented but the chopping board did not look washed after a previous user. The shower, relatively new, lacked our expected water pressure. If the room better heating, winter bedding, plus spare blankets, clean chopping board and better shower pressure we would consider a return visit.
