Stayed here on a recent road trip to Utah and Arizona. Tried to book hotels near the national parks we would be going to each day. This one was about the closest to Capitol Reef that we could find. It is in a very remote area as we had no cell service but that was ok as we did not require it at the time. The room was very clean and well kept. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative we have for this place is that it is so remote that there are no gas stations or restaurants anywhere near. So make sure you have fueled up and picked up food before you get there. There is a microwave and mini fridge in room so we used that to heat up food that we had packed which was not a problem. Overall would rate this place as excellent as you would not expect to find this kind of place in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.…
Lucky we found a place close to Capitol Reef National Park coming in from the east. Very nice and comfortable room. We were given a breakfast basket with all kinds of goodies. Super nice gal at the reception desk!
The rooms were immaculate. extremely clean with not a speck of dust anywhere. Tristan and Kara were very friendly and helpful. We had one minor issue with a light, fixture, which was corrected in minutes. Easy access to our rooms as we were on the ground floor.
We had always driven past this hotel because it wasn’t time to stop for the night. This trip we made it a point to stay here because it always looks so inviting. We are so happy that we stopped here. The location is perfect being at the east gates of Capitol Reef NP. The views from the hotel are stunning. Sure it isn’t in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of things but it is the perfect place to stay when traveling. The live in staff are so wonderful, willing to help you with ideas on places to go and see. They are also quite friendly and just “nice people”. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have all a person needs. Since we are traveling in an epidemic situation some things are not provided, such as full breakfasts but we were provided with a basket of muffins, yogurt, granola bars and juices that was perfect. We now have a new favorite place to stay when in the area. …
We loved this motel, so quiet and definitely isolated but well worth stopping here. They do have frozen ready meals but bring your own food or eat before you get here. Lovely room and the skies at night time were truly amazing.
