We live just a few miles away from the hotel but chose to treat ourselves to a lazy afternoon on the private beach followed by a very good dinner looking out to Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains. Rooms are large and all have views of the sea Gibraltar the beaches and soto grande. Staff very good polite and keen to... More

I was recommended this place by a friend who lives nearby and it didn't disappoint. The location is superb, with the sound of waves crashing on the shore below and a view up and down the coast to Gibraltar. The room is a good two star, but the staff are friendly, the beach accessible and the breakfast better than one... More

My wife and I have just returned from a weekend stay at this small hotel. It is just of the Malaga/Sotogrande road, a few minutes from the village of Torreguadiaro. We didn't use the bar/restaurant, but other reviewers have commented favourably on their dining experience. We had a first floor room which gave great sea views of Sotogrande port, with... More

I have had three most enjoyable luncheons here in the last couple of weeks. The Hotel is in a stunning location overlooking the sea and the beach with views to Gibraltar on a clear day, the Atlas mountains in Morocco. It lies on the Eastern outskirts of Torreguadiaro. It has been renovated in the last couple of years and the... More

This hotel seems like nothing from the road, but the views from the rooms are spectacular. There are other complaints about the staff here...that they don't speak English. So what! They were congenial and tried their best to be of service despite a language barrier. The room was clean, and we had the best sleep of two weeks in Spain.... More

I arrived home yesterday after a week stay with my partner. First of all, I would like to say the staff here are wonderful and went out of their way to help when possible. They are all very friendly and attentive and couldn't ask more from then. The chef is also great and cooked the fillet steak to perfection. The... More

The restaurant terrace sits on the cliff edge and overlooks the sea and Gibraltar and provides a fantastic setting for the superb cuisine that is served. The Calamar a la plancha is delightful and you are presented with a whole Calamar/Squid of considerable size cooked to perfection with a great dressing and tasty beef tomato and cucumber. The Sole is... More

This is such a quaint Hotel, we only paid 75 Euros a night in Dec. 2014, You can see Gilbralator in the distance, the food was good, the rooms great, all modern. We loved it. I wanted to stay there again in Feb, but due to time constraints it didn't happenen.

We spent 3 nights here last week-end and we had an excellent stay. Really comfy beds, bathroom needs modernising but not the end of the works, charming staff and would stay here again. A few irritations were that although the rooms were spotless there were traces of pubic hairs on the balcony which needs attention to detail and there was... More

To start with, the view is just superb! Totally uninterrupted sea views from your room, what more could you ask for in a location than to hear the waves crashing in below your balcony! The food and the staff are excellent, quality food which is well cooked and presented. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they have... More
