Had a great stay at this 'chambre d'hotes'. This B&B, which is situated in the middle of the vineyards, has beautiful and spacious rooms. The breakfast is extremely tasty and the (optional) dinner (table d'hotes) is top notch. The hosts, Lotte and Wouter (Dutch) are lovely and will make your stay one to remember.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this b&b in the picturesque village Azé. Lotte and Wouter are very friendly and helpful. They made our stay a wonderful experience! The food and wine were excellent. Our room was clean , complete and comfortable, with a perfect view on the vineyards. We shall certainly return.

We are on our honeymoon and were searching for a place between Lake Garda and Paris. We happened on Les Portails Bleus and could not have been happier with our choice. First of all, the village is charming and the building beautiful. We received a very warm welcome from Wouter and Lotte. We were well looked after every step of... More

My family and I stayed in this delightful B&B this summer for an over night stop in the Macon wine region. The most gorgeous little place with excellent hosts. They offered a 3 course dinner (at a cost of £27.50 per head) including wine and coffee. A substantial continental breakfast is provided and included in the room price. Rooms have... More

A great place for a stop over on your way down south. Set in beautiful burgundian hills, Les Portails Bleu oozes old French charm and Dutch hospitality, courtesy of Lotte and Wouters. Delicious breakfast too. Top tip for your evening meal is La Nation restaurant in nearby Cluny, about 20 mins drive away...

This amazing place is held by a young couple, both wine and food lovers. You may like the dinner, as you will love the breakfast. The place is an old winemakers house located surrounded by grapefarms. Although the village is not very special Les Portals Bleus are. Also a most convenient stop on the way to the Alps or the... On our way to the south of France we stayed two nights at Lotte and Wouters place. We had a wonderfull time with our two daughters. Good food with good burgundy wines. Lotte and Wouter joined us at the dinner table. They are really good cooks and very friendly people. Very nice rooms. We really recommend this place!

We have just visited this B&b and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed one night on a journey south through France and had booked dinner with the hosts. What a fun night, there were ten guests, a mix of Dutch, German Australians and English and a very mixed age group with us at 70 plus the oldest. It was an excellent... More
