We stayed in the family room and it was fantastic, our little boy loved it! Really comfy room, great bathroom, very comfy beds and an even better breakfast! Margi and Andy were lovely and really accomodating, even having some toys for our toddler to play with in the garden. Exceptionalalue for money and we would definately come back to stay.

We would highly recommend Brook Cottage as an ideal stay in the beautiful countryside of Devon. Although conveniently located close to major roads, the rural setting is peaceful and charming with off road parking. All amenities were first class. We were greeted by Margie and Andy Hunter with a delightful afternoon tea with freshly cooked scones, they could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our stay was for three nights and was a base for us to explore Cornwall. Bedding was very comfortable and the breakfasts second to none. If we return to UK and Devon we would certainly choose Brook Cottage again. Mal & Robyn Australia

I stayed with my 2 teenage children whilst my husband was away on a training course - regrettably it was only for one night. Margie and Andy greeted us personally, we were welcomed with a Devon Cream Tea and shown into our accommodation....the standards of clenliness and attention to detail were second to none, breakfast was fantastic. I could not have asked for more~the package was complete, and will struggle to find another bed and breakfast to compare....I hope to get the opportunity to re-visit, this time with my hubby in tow. I should also add the location was beautiful - a small slice of total tranquility. Thank you Margie and Andy. Michele, Jacob and Rachel

Mr & Mrs Hunter have excelled with this Bed and Breakfast. The cottage itself is wonderfull situated in a lovely village with beautiful grounds. The Bedrooms are very nicely refurbished with a high standard of Bathroom and en-suite fitment. On our visit we were delighted to be offered a menu the night before to select whatever and as much as we liked from the breakfast menu, on the morning it was delicious and worth getting up for. Both Margaret and Andy are extremely friendly and welcoming and made out short trip very special. We will most defiately stay there again when in Devon and would highly recommend that you dont miss the opportunity to be spoilt in this lovely home.
