We absolutely LOVED the service we were provided at Springwater Villa. There are 3 women who cooked most of our meals, Island Cuisine, and it was all delicious and wonderful. No stressing out about shopping for groceries or making meals or cleaning up. Gave us more time to be with our famiy of 14. (Age range from 3 to 74). Gabriel and Nilda are the primary managers and they were so helpful with our snorkeling arrangements to Pigeon Key. they had a lot of stories to tell about the location and history. You will love them. The guest comment book is filled with "love letters" to the staff. Last but not least was the location and the facilities: Springwater is on the East side of Roatan which is more remote from the main population, but the scenery was gorgeous, the quiet solitude was great, and the stars were bigger and brighter than anywhere. Beautiful setting! The grandchildren spent most of their time in the pool, and the adults relaxed. For shopping you will need to drive to one of the towns on the island. (Pro for me, but not for some of the girls). The only con is the drive from the airport. The roads are pretty poor, and you need to keep your head on a swivel. However If you want to be well taken care of, go to Springwater and meet the staff, and enjoy the location.…
