I cannot recommend East Thorne enough! 😊 We stayed in the Cynefin roundhouse, which is separate from the main site and has beautiful views of the rolling hills. It really is the perfect accommodation for a relaxing holiday. The site is in a lovely countryside location and is only a 15 minute drive to Bude which has great amenities. We received a warm and friendly welcome and check in/out was very quick and easy. The roundhouse was perfect ! Clean, luxurious, spacious, cosy and felt like home straight away. East Thorne go above and beyond in providing everything you need for your stay including little touches such as Marshmallows, tea lights, blankets, matches and fire wood, to name just a few ! It feels more like a cottage than a glamping accommodation as it is so luxurious and well kitted out, it has everything you need. The hotel chocolate Velvetiser was great 😍 and completely unexpected. We felt the holiday was worth every penny. The hot tub was lovely and clearly well maintained too. The team at East Thorne are running an excellent establishment and they clearly love what they do. We loved our time here and will definitely be returning in the future. If you are looking for somewhere to stay In North Cornwall then I'd 1000% recommend East Thorne. Thank you to everyone at East Thorne for a wonderful, relaxing holiday, we can't wait to visit again 😊 Charlotte and Peter x

We booked this holiday 2 years ago, due to the pandemic it was postponed twice. It was, however, worth the wait. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. Although we didn’t stay in the Yurts, we did get the chance to look inside and they were superb. The owners and staff made us welcome. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to come back

We have just returned home from a fabulous stay at East Thorne Roundhouse, the Roundhouse is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. We had our own hot tub too which was a lovely touch. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We are now looking to book a family stay next year. We visited the Tamar Lakes, 2 hours to walk the Upper Lake, but there is a very welcoming cafe at the end of the walk which sells the best ever Cornish Pasty’s. We also went over to Sandymouth Beach, beautiful well worth a visit. Bude town is the nearest town and is quite quaint, also worth a visit. All in all we cannot recommend a stay at East Thorne enough, we highly recommend it. Thanks to Naomi, Adam, Katie and Stewart we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We had a brilliant family holiday at East Thorne round houses. The accommodation was lovely, well kept and perfect for our family of two adults and two children. Our kids loved the hot tub and exploring the nearby beaches. We all slept very well after all the fresh air! Our son fell in during our stay and our hosts were very thoughtful and supportive. We chose to leave early due to Storm Eunice and again our hosts helped us with suggesting alternative travel and accommodation for our journey home. We would definitely rebook and visit East Thorne again.

We stayed at East thorne for 4 nights and it was not enough! It immediately felt like home and we did not want to leave! The roundhouse was so beautifully done with plenty of space for a whole family, the bathroom was beautiful with a large shower. The log burner warmed up the whole home. But I can’t forget the hot tub! Definitely our favourite part of our stay, it made it so special! Definitely would stay again! X

My partner and I loved our stay here, we didn’t want to leave. The weather was definitely on our side the week we went, which made the experience just perfect. There was an American lady working there at the time, she was so accommodating and friendly. The hot tub and log burner made it for us in the evenings, it was so relaxing. We felt well rested after our trip. Thankyou East Thorne Cornwall for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed in one of the Cottages for a week. Due to time of year we visited the site was really quiet which suited us well with our dogs. Cottage very comfortable with everything you need for a self catering stay. A basket of logs was provided for the log burner which we used towards the end of the night, further logs could be purchased from reception. Parking onsite and directly outside the cottage. East Thorne very well set up with several cottages and round houses with hot tubs. There is also a converted open side barn that was used by a hen party on the night we arrived. Large grass area in the middle of the site with a large fire pit. There is also a pizza oven on site which you can book to use. East Thorne is perfectly located for trips to the local beaches, down the Cornish Coastline or up the coast into Devon. We had a lovely stay and I've already starting recommending to family and friends.
