On our travels we came across this wonderful Inn. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and modern. Christopher showed us up to the room. We had dinner and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with the well cooked and presented food and had a variety to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this New Inn...

Recently stopped off at the New Inn on the way to Bude for lunch. Its a lovely pub with a warm friendly feel. The menu is written on a chalk board with lots of choice. The food is fab and lots of it!! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My only criticism is that it was a bit chilly. We closed the...

My wife and I dropped in for an evening meal and sat in the bar as tables at the front were reserved...a good sign of a popular place. The barman was helpful and beer was well kept and wine was good. They do not do tabs probably as if it gets too busy some people could 'disappear". Menu board not...

Very friendly and helpful during the booking process. Shown to the room we were very impressed - it was very modern, spotlessly clean and looked brand-new. We asked how long it had been since they were done and they said "Five years". Normally rooms get a bit battered, but not this one. Christopher said his cleaner wanted everyone to think...

We visited for dinner this evening and left very confused. This is a very friendly pub, both in terms of staff and customers. We were however split over the food. Three of our party enjoyed their meals, but two had gammon. This was very salty, overcooked and the chips tasted of old cooking fat/oil. We were surprised when ordering when...

We booked to stay to be near a friends wedding, the owners made us feel very welcome on arrival. The next morning offered to take us to collect our car from the wedding venue, which was very thoughtful. We would highly recommend, we stayed in the family room which is finished to a very high standard, with attention to the...

Thoroughly recommend this lovely pub/b&b. The rooms are modern, comfortable, extremely clean and quiet. Couldn't find fault. The pub has character and very helpful friendly staff. We had the full English with black pudding and the Sunday papers. Have stayed twice now and would definitely book again Excellent value for money
