We loved this hotel for all (but one!) of its facilities, staff and particularly for its superb breakfasts. We did not like it for our ability to communicate with the outside world as the wi-fi, despite consoling words, never worked (since you have to go through a Wadsworth landing page that hobbles the connection). You're also in a mobile dead... More

Stayed for 2 nights. If I only had one word to describe this Inn, it would be 'charming'. It's on a main road, between Cheltenham and Cirencester, with within easy reach of all the Cotswolds hot spots. Our room was very comfortable, very clean with lots of storage facilities, good sized bathroom. Our room was facing the main road, so... More

Stayed recently for 2 nights and were really pleased with our choice. Quick and informative check in and lots of info on food, bar and local things so painless to settle in. Ate in the pub where they have a good varied menu, cooked well and served efficiently. Overall welcoming staff, good beer and food led to a great stay.

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently and were really impressed. Lovely food, welcoming staff and a good atmosphere - hard to fault it! Everything has been well considered and well done. A lovely part of the country too!

Dropped in for late lunch, on advice from Green Dragon in Cowley who stopped seving food at 2:30. Had pleasant beer, baguettes & chips outside. Only bad point is that no-one bothered to clear the dirty dishes.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was on the front but we weren't bothered by road noise. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty but expensive for portion size. We had the most expensive slice of Lemon tart at £6 for the slimmest slice I have ever seen, but it was good. Breakfast was... More

Having gone through the stress of moving we decided on a four night break in the Cotswolds. The Colesbourne Inn proved to be an excellent choice. From arrival to departure we were made to feel more than welcome, not only by the managers Trevor and Liz but by all of the staff. The food is excellent with some traditional pub grub... More

This old Coaching Inn stands halfway between Cheltenham and Cirencester at the south west corner of the Cotswolds. Bibury with it's alms houses and trout farm plus Burford and the Cotswold Wildlife Park are all within close reach. The bedrooms are in a converted outbuilding and of the highest quality. It has a lovely pub feel to it plus restaurant,... More

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Room was small, but nice, on the ground floor next to the pub. Booked a meal in the restaurant for the evening and prior to that had a drink in the large beer garden area to the rear where you could catch the evening sun (people were eating out there too). The restaurant was quite busy,... More

I ate in the restaurant but did not stay in the hotel. Food was sub-standard, but what is more the menu is so long when I was asked to chose I felt like I was on trial for my choice, it was an actual Spanish inquisition. First I was asked if I wanted Diane sauce, then if I wanted any... More
