We've stayed here a few times, when visiting the nearby gardens, and it's always been very pleasant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. So it was a bit of a surprise on a Wednesday lunchtime to be told that a bowl of soup - a bowl of soup! - would take at least 45 minutes. "And anyway, we've got a...

This Inn is in a beautiful setting in the Cotswolds with well appointed rooms and lovely cosy linen. The pub. lounge and dining room have cosy fires going every evening and the food is superb, even catering very well for vegetarians. We also enjoyed the bar billiard game. Overall a delightful stay.

We have stayed at the Colesbourne Inn before and basically come here to have a relaxing week in comfortable surroundings after a busy family Christmas and new year. We are never disappointed. The accommodation is just right and the log fires and lovely food offer the perfect end to a days walking or driving to discover the beautiful Cotswolds area....

The Colesbourne Inn has to be one of the very best pubs for B&B in England. The food and drink is superb, the rooms and public areas immaculate, and the welcome and service impeccable. If you can't stay the night, do go for breakfast, lunch or dinner - we met several locals who eat there regularly, and that speaks volumes....

Just had two nights at Colesbourne Inn and it was great. The atmosphere with log fires and squashy sofas is very welcoming as are the hosts, Trevor and Liz. Wonderful food and fab service both in the bar and the restaurant. The bedrooms are really well appointed and comfy - the only thing I would say is try and get...

As perfect a country inn as you're likely to find, the Colesbourne is ideal for a weekend stay. Good food, log fires, and very comfortable rooms, with some great walks nearby. Very little to be said against it except that some of the rooms face onto the main road, so a little bit of traffic noise. But otherwise, all excellent.
