Booking directly with the hotel, we got what turned out to be a great deal. We had a night in a large and comfortable room, a three course set meal and breakfast for two - all at under £130. The building is full of character and most of it has been tastefully refurbished.

Loved this hotel, it is a beautiful historic building, quite quirky, I loved the decor. The breakfast was lovely, cooked to order with locally sourced food. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which was nice. It is ideally located for visiting the beautiful Suffolk
