We stayed 5 nights at this B+B to explore the Suffolk coastline and have no hesitation in giving Copperbeech a five star review.

On arrival you are instantly made to feel at home by the warm welcome from owner Kirsty. There are some nice personal touches around the house, giving a homely feel throughout.

As there are only four large rooms, each has been tastefully decorated to a high standard. Our bedroom, modern walk-in shower and bathroom were spotlessly clean and were refreshed each day.

Mini fridge with fresh milk, bottled water, coffee machine and large screen TV come as standard. Although the house is fairly close the main road, there is no traffic noise, as each room benefits from triple glazing.

The breakfast room is immaculate and the standard and range of food is on par with 4*+ hotels, as the owner is a qualified breakfast chef. Breakfast preserves and honey all come fresh from the garden’s fruit trees and hives.

We’ve stayed in many B+Bs over the years and consider ourselves to be quite picky, but rarely if ever will you find one as good as this. You can book this accommodation with confidence, you won’t be disappointed.

Many thanks once again Kirsty + John.

Great B&B, high quality rooms, food and service. Kirsty was a model host and very welcoming and accommodating. The place is 'very good hotel standard' but with the personal service you don't get at a hotel and all the little details are thought of. Loved our weekend stay. If you are looking for a quality venue for a few days in nearby Minsmere (about 6 miles down the road) then look no further and book with confidence. Great village pub about 50 yards away serves great ales and restaurant quality food for a great price too which was a real bonus.

My parents stayed here for 2 nights to visit family. They drove down from West Yorkshire and unfortunately got lost a couple times so didn’t make it for the 6pm check-in - Kirsty called to chase and we weren’t aware there was a deadline so didn’t call ahead to let her know of the delays but luckily she offered to wait for them. They said the willow room was lovely - especially the wet room and all the little touches she added: fresh milk, cold water in fridge, toiletries, etc. They were also super impressed with the breakfast options and they were high quality with fresh honey available from the gardens.

The host of this accommodation ruined our weekend stay in Yoxford. We were driving from London and had agreed to a check in time of 9-10pm but on route there was a multi car pile up on the A12 which meant that we were delayed by 30mins. When we spoke with the host at 955pm and explained that we were only 30mins away, she completely refused to stay up just 30 mins to let us in and further to this, refused to leave a key for us to pick up. By the time we had finished unsuccessfully pleading with her to let us have the room we had paid for (and her telling us she we still going to charge us for the night!) we were only 15 mins away. Completely inconsiderate and ridiculous!

We were forced to look for another property at 11pm at night in quite a remote part of Suffolk. We were lucky to find a place 15 minutes away with a very accommodating host who gave us a code to a lock box. If we hadn't have found this we would have had to sleep in our car which the host of Copperbeach seemed to not care about! The next day when we arrived for our originally booked second night, there was no apology for us being put out like this and there was no concern shown whatsoever as to whether we had found somewhere to sleep that night. I get the impression this BnB couldn't have cared less if we had slept in the street - they just wanted our money. I am still waiting for my money to be refunded by the accommodation but it is currently being refused because we missed the 10pm cut-off despite a multi car pile up that was completely outside of our control and would have meant the host only staying up another 15 mins. I strongly believe that this host does not care about the welfare of her guests and should not be allowed to operate a BnB or anything that involves customer service. In short, AVOID!

This is a top choice to stay for a few days, if you are thinking for walks, birdwatching, visiting friends, exploring the traditional villages, beaches, it is ideally located for all.
Kristy is such a welcoming host, all precautions were taken to make sure you were safe, as you entered the house. She is very friendly, makes you feel at home and helpful in advise, eg, where to eat, what to see.
The B&B is very clean, smart. Our room, lovely decor, not plain or over the top, very homely like a very large living room. It didn't feel sterile like some rooms can, or small. There were tea facilities, fridge, bonus there, telly if you are into that while on holiday, but wow, it had a huge bathroom. None of this cubicles that you get, where you can't move around, no there was room to move out of the shower, in fact if you were that way inclined two of you could fit in.
The only downside, if you have a bad back, the mattress was too soft. It would be worth ringing up first to find out, which room you would be in and how firm the mattresses is. Kristy is very helpful
Breakfast, well, where do I start it is like a 3-course dining experience. We think it is because Kristy likes cooking and she loves food, and wants to share that experience with people. We were there for three days, and got to try different things, all top notch.
Thanks Kristy for a great stay

We were looking for a B&B close to Minsmere and I think we have found the perfect one for us. Kirsty is a very friendly, welcoming and accommodating host, our room was spacious with minimal noise from the A12 and the breakfast is wonderful. The mini fridge in the room was also a welcome bonus. Unfortunately Storm Ciara cut our stay short but we will be back! Highly recommended.

Searching for a last minute Covid break out of London and all our usual places in Suffolk were booked. Happened upon CopperBeech in Yoxford and booked a 4 night stay. What a fabulous gem!!

Very warmly greeted by Kirsty and shown to our very spacious, spotless and well equipped room. Perfectly situated for drives to Aldeburgh, Southwold and lots of gorgeous Suffolk villages- recommend a wander down the main street of Yoxford.

Incredible breakfasts- had to have a lie down after each one! Great choice of everything and the various varieties of poached eggs (perfect every time) were YUM!!! Everything cooked to order and delivered by Kirsty with warmth, humour and local gossip!!!

One of our best 4 night stays away for a long time. Kirsty really goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. As well as a nifty chef, she's also very talented in the homemade jams and candles which are available to purchase.

Will definitely return!!!!

Fantastic little b&b. Great location. Lovely and clean and lots of thoughtful touches I.e. fresh milk in the little fridges in the room. Kirsty was a fantastic host. We stayed here for a local wedding and Kirsty was great at providing us rooms to get ready in early and accommodating all our needs - thank you! The next morning with a bad hangover we had the most amazing breakfast!!! All fresh and local produce...thank you so much for a great stay. We will be back! X

I have searched for a hotel as a convenient base for visiting various sights in Suffolk and gladly found this one. The host Kristie was very hospitable. Breakfast was included in our price and a few choice is available to us. We preferred English Breakfast which is very generous. The hotel is about 100 ft from a local pub, called King's head which is reasonable. The best is that I do not have to drive and therefore freely enjoy a beer.
