A lovely stay with a wonderful room. Kirsty is lovely and having lived in the area all her life, she knows where to send us. The breakfast was the best. The only down fall, we couldn't sit in the garden as Kirsty keeps bees and on a very hot evening it would have been good to relax in the back garden as the front garden is on a busy road
Stayed at CopperBeech three times now. Would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very well decorated, facilities within the rooms as advertised. Ideal base for exploring the Suffolk coastline. Excellent range for breakfast. Kirsty is a great host.
We stayed 5 nights at this B+B to explore the Suffolk coastline and have no hesitation in giving Copperbeech a five star review. On arrival you are instantly made to feel at home by the warm welcome from owner Kirsty. There are some nice personal touches around the house, giving a homely feel throughout. As there are only four large rooms, each has been tastefully decorated to a high standard. Our bedroom, modern walk-in shower and bathroom were spotlessly clean and were refreshed each day. Mini fridge with fresh milk, bottled water, coffee machine and large screen TV come as standard. Although the house is fairly close the main road, there is no traffic noise, as each room benefits from triple glazing. The breakfast room is immaculate and the standard and range of food is on par with 4*+ hotels, as the owner is a qualified breakfast chef. Breakfast preserves and honey all come fresh from the garden’s fruit trees and hives. We’ve stayed in many B+Bs over the years and consider ourselves to be quite picky, but rarely if ever will you find one as good as this. You can book this accommodation with confidence, you won’t be disappointed. Many thanks once again Kirsty + John.…
The Copperbeech was a delightful setting for myself and my coworkers. The rooms were beautiful, offering coffee machines and stunning en suites. I was really impressed with the variety on the veggie breakfast menu. Kirsty who owns it was an absolute dream, made us feel at-home and I could've chatted away to her all day long! Would highly recommend this for anyone wishing to visit RSPB Minsmere and the surrounding area!
My parents stayed here for 2 nights to visit family. They drove down from West Yorkshire and unfortunately got lost a couple times so didn’t make it for the 6pm check-in - Kirsty called to chase and we weren’t aware there was a deadline so didn’t call ahead to let her know of the delays but luckily she offered to wait for them. They said the willow room was lovely - especially the wet room and all the little touches she added: fresh milk, cold water in fridge, toiletries, etc. They were also super impressed with the breakfast options and they were high quality with fresh honey available from the gardens.
Had a lovely stay at this B&B. Great location to explore the area. The rooms are perfectly presented and so comfortable. Kirsty the owner is lovely, so welcoming. The breakfast is amazing! The Kings head pub is a great choice for dinner.
The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The owners are warm and welcoming and the breakfast is superb. The location was perfect for us. We stayed with friends who each had their own room and were equally pleased.
Stylish, comfortable rooms with everything you need for a great stay. Lovely touches included sweets in a jar, chocolate on the bed, milk in the fridge…Great shower room, well designed and appointed. Very comfortable bed, great nights sleep. The owner was very welcoming and is a trained chef and this certainly showed. The breakfast was top notch, as good as we have had anywhere, including Michelin starred restaurants such as Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir. It’s also a very reasonable price, we paid double for a night nearby tonight without breakfast.
We had a lovely one night family stay here last night. Kirstie was an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable, very clean and loved the decor throughout. Breakfast was amazing, all locally sourced and eggs straight from the garden. Pancakes were fantastic according to my son. Would throughly recommend and willbe staying again!
A great place to stay within quick and easy reach of both Aldeburgh and Southwold. Good sized, clean, modern rooms decorated to a very high standard. A very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay where Kirsty will make you feel at home. Great breakfast with a delicious homemade jams and marmalades.
