Located just off the motorway, it has easy access, but it is just far enough to minimise road noise. Interior roads are gravel and are very well maintained and are wide enough for easy access by big rigs. Sites are also gravel and are reasonably level. Well maintained grass between sites, which have a comfortable separation. Out site was 50... More

We really enjoyed how clean this campground is. Sites are exceptionally well maintained. Most of them are in the middle field, but we stayed on the outside edge backing onto a tree line, which offered a bit more privacy. Staff were all friendly, each time we encountered anyone working here. Wifi is horrible. I work while travelling in the rv... More

Our family of 4 plus 2 dogs stayed here the civic holiday weekend. We thought it would be a quiet family time. We were pleasantly surprised to have our family "drop in" from Nova Scotia to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. As this was not planned in advance, I am impressed there weren't any complaints of noise or lots of... More

my wife and I just returned from this wonderful family focused park. This park is a must stay if you are visiting Wonderland. Super clean, friendly, family based. A variety of sites suited for 45 foot diesel ushers to a small tent. Daily activities for the little ones. Extremely well managed. A family favorite.

We stayed at this site during the first week of July in one of their deluxe cabins. The cabins were cozy and very clean. Noise level was very low from other campers. The pool was clean. A lot to do in the area such a the beach, go karting and shopping at the outlet mall. Toronto is an hour away... More

We stayed in the 2 room Cabin on our recent trip to wonderland, my kids loved it, they didn't want to go back to wonderland after we had dinner, lots of stuff for them to do, but they were extremely disappointed that we didn't have Wifi in our cabin, I guess we were to far away from the main hall,... We love coming to Toronto North Cooktown KOA. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of activities geared towards youngster. Movie night every Saturday and a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. There is a small pool for very little ones and a bigger pool. Also a rock climbing wall, mining experience, mini-putt, organized wagon ride, craft times and a super... More

Have stayed here many times for a lacrosse tournament. The majority of the time the staff is amazing although the night people need to relax a little. We were getting in trouble for noise starting at 10:20 pm yet I went for a walk once and couldn't hear our sites at all until you were right up on it. We... More

I write this review with some reservations as some gems you expose with skepticism. If you have children you have to visit Toronto North KOA (Cookstown, ON). The staff is more like a family, welcoming you into their back yard for the weekend. There are many activities and crafts for the kids including a challenging rock climbing wall, Mining Experience... Very clean, great facilities, and although our son is a little older and we didn't participate, there is always stuff going on for the kids! Conveniently located, not far from small towns, and a short drive to things like Vaughn Mills for shopping, or Canada's Wonderland, this is the one place we always go back to year after year.
