My husband and I operate a video production company and travelled out to Abricots to complete a filming project. Coming off of the treacherous roads we needed a comfortable place to stay once we made it back to Jeremie. We could not have been happier to stumble upon Place Charmant's serene mountain oasis! Enchanting and welcoming would be the two words we'd use to describe Bette and Edwin's space. I have traveled to the Jérémie area each year for about 16 years. Staying at Bette and Edwin’s is always the highlight. Edwin has designed and built each of the beautiful buildings perched on the hill. They offer an expansive view of the city, the Grand Anse River, and the sea. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, with nice mattresses, hot showers, WiFi, window screens, ceiling fans and AC at night. The food served in the dining room is great kreyol style Haitian food, with attention to safe preparation practices. If you catch Bette poolside, she will tell you many stories of the area and from her 20+ years working in public health in Jeremie. Travels in Haiti can be difficult and this is a wonderful oasis where you can unwind and relax. You will not be disappointed! Please see some of my attached photos.

I would of never believed if a place like this exist in Jeremie Haiti.. Excellent hideaway for anyone who's looking for a place to relax and meditate. Sitting over the hills of Calass Jeremie with superb ocean views and lavish tropical garden, rooms and showers are very clean and all the environment is A+++ I will definitely visit again and recommend this place

My crew and I had a great time at Place Charmant. Bette is very nice. The breakfast and dinner was excellent! I highly recommend anyone visiting de la Grand'Anse/Jeremie stay here. Cold Prestige beer is available on site!

My room was clean, spacious and very quiet with nice air conditioning. The pool is outstanding with a wonderful view of the sea. The compound is very secure, high up on a hill overlooking the city of Jeremie. Easy access into the city for meetings yet far enough away to have some peace.

Place Charmant offers wonderful rooms, meals, views and top notch service. The hotel has different buildings spread out across what is basically a fruit garden. Beautiful any time of the year, and in June, you can pick as many fresh mangos, cherries and tamarinds off the trees as you like. Hotel offers breakfast and dinner all inclusive. Its definitely the best place in town when it comes to hotels

I used to work in a small city in the départment, and Place charmant was my little paradise to rest for the weekends in Jeremie. If you ever go for business or holidays, be confident you ll spend the greatest time there. The place is amazing and quiet, surrounded by nature, the rooms and appartments are so lovely, the pool is just amazing and the staff really available any time. After a few years, Betty and Edwin, the owners, are like family and it s priceless! I ll be back soon guys, I miss you already!!

Nestled in the hills of Jeremie, this quiet oasis is my go to place to stay any time I am in the area. The pool is wonderful. The food and beverages are incredible. The service is top notch. I highly recommend this venue for anyone working or traveling on vacation to Jeremie.

For someone who lives a humanitarian life and has to have a reliable accommodation for the team, safe and secure place plus access to food and internet - Place Charmant has been our go to for years! One of the best places you can find in Jeremie, Grand Anse (where there are not that many options). Bette and her crew are amazing in meeting all needs and go above and beyond to support their guests. Highly recommended!

Place Charmant is a tropical oasis. The grounds are filled with peaceful, beautiful scenery. The staff is always inviting and helpful. When I stayed there I filled out the form from their website and they responded to me within 24 hours. I hope you will like the place and enjoy your stay.
