Going to Inhotim (what a fantastic place!) I decided to say at Estalagem do Mirante. Althoug a little far from Inhotim (more or less one hour), it is an excelent choice. Very nice and confortable chales, very good restaurant and a fantastic view due to the localization on the top of a mountain. The only problem is the steep slope...

We stayed here as our base while visiting Inhotim. The art park was a little less than an hour away and we rented a car, but the hotel also offered to arrange a driver. If you feel comfortable renting a car, this is a much better option. The hotel itself is wonderful with individual villas, amazing views, and fantastic food....

Tucked on the road from Ouro Preto to Inhotim , this beautiful property deserves a visit. Great bungalows with all comfort ( TV , AC , fireplace) . Stay here instead of the hotels in downtown Belo Horizontes which are uninteresting. The road from the Pousada to Inhotim museum is gorgeous and takes only 50 minutes.

All is said in the title but let me give you further details: When we arrived at the hotel after spending a day in Inhotim, it was already dark. The receptionist, after a very inexistent/cold greeting, not only forgot (or was too lazy maybe) to give us the basics informations about the hotel, facilities or the wifi password, but she...

An absolutely amazing view with great and cozy rooms and (mostly) nice staff. The rates are a little to steep so I'd recommend a week day for a stay, which costs considerably less. The only issue I had was that I wasn't informed that our room didn't have AC and some of the other rooms did. Considering they are all...

This is the most amazing view I've ever been in all the 30something countries I've visited. Private bangalows, in wooden and brick, nicely put so all visitants can wake up and sleep with the most wonderful view ever. However, hotel lacks service to accompany such a wonderful experience - there is no room facilities or services, there is no room...

Nice b&b and not far from Inhotim . Rooms spacious and the best is the view! Natural swimming pool...carved in the rocks, water coming from a waterfall.... Breakfast excellent..good service....fair price...off season... We had dinner and was good. There is a good restaurant not far from the Pousada. We would be back.

The hotel is simple but it is organized by separate cabins, bringing good privacy. There is a beutiful view of the montains and at night it is nice to have dinner at there restaurant. They have an innovative kind of fondue that is worth trying and the service is great.

The location is superb, waking to a magnificent panorama of the valley. The rooms were a bit basic, shower temperature control required a bit of thought! The breakfast was pretty good, the dinner service slow to very slow. People were nice, the drive to a Inhotim (45 mins) pretty.

The hotel is cozy and has an explendid view. It is not so close Of Inhotim, but it is one Of the most romantic places i have ever been. The chalets with bathtub are amazing! It is a good idea to buy some wine and appetizers to bring, because everything is really far. Breakfast is amazing!

“Even the cheaper rooms are incredibly spacious and will serve upto 3 people with an extra bed (charged). The jacuzzi in the more expensive rooms is big and have a great view. All apartments are comfortable, but if you want peace and quite, choose one farther from the entrance (though you have to walk a little longer to get to the restaurant).”
