We visited twice in one week recently, first for an evening meal, then to stay overnight after a party in the function room. Our Monday evening meal was very good, my fish was fried to perfection and the chips were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. The others also enjoyed their meals. We were at a party in the function...

I think it is probably a fairly decent burger fast(ish) food type place. It has the feel of a canteen rather than a restaurant. The food isn't presented overly well and is plain. The starters prawns for 3 of us were needing a zing.... the chicken apparently good. Mains Chicken again good, veg bland. Lasagne a little plain, Meat pie...

Was in here for a family birthday lunch - organised last minute for 14 of us and the fact they could fit in a table of that size on a Sunday lunchtime should have rung alarm bells! The menu was uncomfortably long. At the last count there were 18 main courses available, which immediately makes you wonder what was actually...

Can't really fault this place. Menu was varied, something for everyone. The kids menu was very good value indeed. The rooms were super, clean and functional and ver generously proportioned. Highly recommend.

Stayed here on Saturday night, checked in at the bar and was given keys to another door to gain access to bedrooms, no offer to show us to our room or help with bags, rooms are very basic and old fashioned, floral bedding and matching curtains, small bathroom and no where in the shower to sit toiletries other than the...

Perfect for my wife and my golfing trip, clean comfortable, friendly and excellent ;location for some great golf courses. Food was very tasty and, if there was a criticism, too much on the plate! Not somewhere to go for a "classy" or romantic break but perfect for golfers or hardcore touring.

very disappointed with the food, steak pie meat was dry and well overcooked although the flavor was good. Peas were cold probably due to the cold plate. Staff were excellent. If you have the mixed grill which includes a piece of steak you are not asked how you would the steak cooked.
