4 adults and 4 children aged between 8 and 4. Excellent value for money and staff were always helpful. Went down for breakfast on Saturday at 7.15 as having to leave to catch plane in Edinburgh. Didn't realise that breakfast on Saturdays is 8am although this is shown in in-house brochure. However, staff were already in the kitchen, asked us what...

Reception easy and quick service. Room was standard with all the usual facilities. Nothing outstanding but nothing wrong. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was fine, nothing outstanding but good food at a reasonable price. The barman had offered to serve dinner in the bar if we wished to continue watching the match on TV. Breakfast was self...

A good range of rooms in various stages of being refurbished - our room was requiring a little TLC. We were part of a large party (40+) and were served a limited menu for evening meals - best described as basic. Breakfast was a buffet style and was a good choice - traditional breakfast or cold buffet and variety of...

I can say that the staff are very helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. The rooms were clean, warm and tidy. Our bathroom was of...

Arrived Friday late afternoon, quick check-in, very friendly and helpful receptionist. Room was clean and big enough for two, bathroom was adequate and had a walk-in shower. Food was good, plenty of choice and the waitresses were really friendly and helpful, especially Karen, thank you. Breakfast plenty of choice again. Bonus for this hotel is the National Trust Bannockburn 3d...

The hotel is next to the National Trust Site for the Battlefield of Bannockburn. It is a modern building with no great architectural feature. The decor is clean, the hotel is regularly cleaned. The public rooms are open and adequately furnished but not comfortable. The bedrooms are small but adequate. The bathroom was again small but clean. Food was reasonable...
