This was the best accommodation that we had during our trip through South Africa, Pam is the perfect host! You can reach the penguins by foot in about 25 minutes. If your hungry, get a table at "the tides".

A semi self catering establishment. You receive muffins in the morning and a good supply of coffee and rusks. The home lies on the main road with the entrance in a side road, so morning traffic noise can be a bit irritating. The views of the lake and the ocean are good and the family are very friendly. The room where I stayed for 2 nights was big enough but the tired refrigerator in the room necessitated earplugs. For a flying visit to Betty’s Bay and surrounds it is affordable and safe.

Beautiful tranquil spot. Beautiful lagoon 3 minutes walk a way. Beautiful beach with great dunes, 7 minutes walk away. Lovely room with plenty of heart in decorating it. Best ever host: warm welcome, each morning freshly baked sugar free muffins, each eve a tiny carafe of sherry. Helpful, many good tips about local restaurants, cafes etc. and last but not least great friendly dogs. We definitely will come back! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pam was a wonderful host. Very helpful. Semi Self catering. Rooms have a stunning view over lagoon and sea in background. Betty Bay is breathtakingly beautiful. Room is Clean. In heart of Betty’s Bay. Not far from Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus on either side. Visit the Penguin Sanctuary!

We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed the quiet and safe neighborhood. Also the view is great with the mountains in the back and the ocean in front. It is not far from the botanical garden and the penguin colony, both are worth a visit. The hosts are friendly and very helpful, they got us a few great tips for walks and restaurants. Their dogs are lovely as well.
