The only difficult part about staying was that you will have to check in at the museum and info center, which is a 200m from the lodges itself, which I did not realize coming there. Other than that, I had a great experience. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the nice lady at the desk helped me find a... More

We arrived at the lodge late at night and woke up to the most stunning uninterrupted views in the morning. The lodge was warm, with central heating throughout, the beds were all very comfortable and extra linen was provided if we required it. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped, we even managed to whip... More

The Waikava Harbour View lodge is lovely, with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the moon come up and the sunrise the next morning. Clean, tidy, warm and beautifully presented. Everything needed for our group of 8, including kitchen equipment. It is hard to find good accommodation for 8 people. Great to have the option of arriving after 1pm (it's... More

Here is a place that is very well set up and comfortable in a magnificent location, that has wonderful, helpful cleaning staff but gets the little things wrong! The owner knew the TV didn't work but did nothing about it (thus only dvd's were available). Our Saturday night meal was spoilt by incorrect information in the guest directory, which the... More

We arrived late in the afternoon after a long drive and were amazed to find such a wonderful accommodation for us at such a reasonable cost. With only four of us in the party, we had excellent bedrooms and bathrooms to spare!!, Not to mention the spacious and well furnished lounge and the breathtaking view from the lounge and deck... We stayed in one of the cottages and found it clean, cozy and very comfortable. It was well supplied and a very good value. Lovely, peaceful setting, well-kept grounds, modern cottage decor. The laundry was a bonus. The bed was comfy; we slept well and were able to prepare breakfast in the well-appointed kitchenette.

We stayed here only one night, but wished we had another day or two. Peaceful setting with view of the Bay. Close to attractions. Fully equipped unit with fridge, stove, micro.. There is a restaurant 5k's away. Need reservation for dinner. Best to bring food as no grocery store in the area.

We stayed for two nights as a couple, only using the "Boat Room" - large double bed and ensuite, of the Harbour View house. We heard nothing from the owner, prior to our visit, as to where to collect keys from but managed to contact her by phone on the day. Good cooking facilities but the pots, pans and utensils... More

We stayed in Tois Tois and found it clean, comfortable, nice bed, Wifi was a bonus, albeit you needed patience. Forewarned we had bought food for supper so we relaxed with the amazing views. On retiring we took advantage of the electric blanket. In the morning there is a Rinnai gas heater if it is a bit chilly. We would... More
