Great little 3 star hotel made all the more special due to the excellent staff. Alex and Nektaria at breakfast and Maria at the pool deserve a mention, the cleaners are always efficient and cheerful. Everyone will help with a smile. Rooms cleaned daily bedding every other day as are the towels. Rooms are quite acceptable for a 3star. The breakfast selection is very very good. Overall really enjoyed our stay there.

Nice Hotel, close to sandy beach. We stayed on a B&B basis, Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Nice pool with enough sun beds. Pool bar and lounge bar. All of the staff are at the top of their game and could not be faulted. Close to tavernas and bus stop16.

The hotel is clean, the rooms quite spacious with a good shower, the pool area is pleasant and sheltered from the wind, but the texture of the bottom of the pool itself is gritty and has the effect of walking on rough sandpaper. Maria, who works by the pool is excellent, always helpful and engaging in conversation, this however, is sadly lacking in most of the staff who are devoid of conversation and personality. The most people we saw at the bar was 3 which is disappointing because the hotel itself is nice. Close to a beautiful beach and well situated for an excellent selection of local tavernas for evening meals

Just returned from our 8th visit to Skiathos, first to this hotel. First of all the pros: Excellent position in Agia Paraskevi, right next to the beach, just a short walk across the grass. Very close to many good restaurants, supermarkets etc. The staff are all really friendly and very helpful and are a real asset to the hotel. Breakfasts are very good and there was always a good selection. The room had lots of wardrobe and cupboard space and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our room cleaner was very good, room cleaned, towels and bed linen replaced regularly. Pool towels can be changed every day at reception. There was no extra charges for air con or the room safe.I The Wi-Fi is very good and you can get connected from your room and all over the hotel, even from the edge of the beach! Now for the cons (and this is just my humble opinion) We requested a 'refurbished' room, but unfortunately we were allocated one that wasn't. Having searched a lot on the internet I could only find photos showing a bathroom with a really nice looking, modern shower cubicle, with jets etc. Unfortunately, these must have been very old photos as our shower was awful! None of the jets worked at all, the top part of the shower only dribbled water out on one inner setting and therefore the only alternative was to use the lower shower hose attachment which had hardly any power and again just dribbled out. I should have realised what the little white plastic stool was provided for! Apparently you were supposed to sit on it and shower - it really didn't help as the pressure was still very bad and washing my rather long hair became a real nightmare. I will try and attach a photo of the shower. I found the bathroom very small in general, sitting on the loo you were forever banging your elbow on the shower door. The large shallow sink wasn't great for washing out swimming costumes etc as you had to be careful not to swish the water out over the floor. There was nowhere to put anything, no hook behind the door to hang anything and very little space either side of the sink to put toiletries etc. I was informed by the owner that this room was going to be refurbished. No full length mirror in the room. The balcony with the garden view was cool and dark and never got any sunshine at all and to make things worse, it was situated directly above the pool toilets/showers and the smell from the drains was really strong! Lastly, and again this is just my opinion, the swimming pool was made out of cement with very sharp stones set into it! I have never seen this before and I have severe problems with my feet, after 3 operations and metal pins, my feet are quite sensitive and I usually have to wear aqua shoes in the sea. I attempted to get into the pool but it was just too painful to walk on for me. I must add that others seemed to have no problem, but I was disappointed and stuck to the beaches. I must also add that we booked our holiday very late and only garden view rooms were available. We really enjoyed our holiday and we would definitely stay at this hotel again, just not in one of the un-refurbished garden rooms!!!

What a great find this was. The hotel is set in very carefully looked after grounds leading to the beach 50 yards away. The hotel rooms were large and spacious with decent size bathrooms. Some rooms are still being refurbished but all very nice. Very clean and very covid aware. We had a seaview and balcony room on first floor. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Nectaria, Maria and Christina! Do indulge in the Greek dancing and BBQ night. I know it sounds a bit corny or contrived but was a blast . . . . Dont know where the girls get their energy! All other staff were really nice too. The hotel is located on flat road of Ag Paraskevi, with about a dozen good restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Note other Skiathos hotels are set in hilly locations so check out access if concerns. Great food at Green Park, Bamboon, Mesa Strato, Kohyli and Infinity Blue. This is good to know as the only minor concern some may have is the limited food choice after breakfast. This was only sandwiches for lunch and small pizza pasta menu at night. However, I suspect this may have been an end of season situation so probably not all year. Not a problem for us. The breakfast had a large fresh and cooked section. Eggs were fabulous and fresh! The beach is large, clean and sandy, water is crystal clear and warm, swimming a joy. I would definitely recommend Arco Beach Hotel.

Myself and two friends had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for 9 days arriving on the 4th August. From the moment we arrived we welcomed by Maria and her reception team and treated so very warmly. We had Junior suites one on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor the rooms are beautifully appointed with generous storage and lovely views of the beach. The beds are extremely comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is situated very well very close to a beautiful beach and a lovely beach bar. Bamboon. There is a regular bus into Skiathos town and the hotel is close to stop No 16. Reception are always happy to call a taxi is this is your preference. However what makes this hotel stand out from the crowd is the magnificent team of staff led by Andreas the General Manager... I wish I knew all their names however I must just mention these special people Maria Front of House Manager...Maria on reception and breakfast... Nektaria breakfast service also know by us as Tinkerbell and pocket rocket .... Christina who was wonderful the day we had to visit the Medical Centre ... the long suffering Janis lovely man who put up with our antics at the pool... last but not least young George .... these are just part of a wonderful team who made our holiday by treating us like Queens. Finally if you get the opportunity go to the weekly BBQ the foods is spectacular, and we had a wonderful time dancing the night away ... the pizzas and Greek salad is also lovely if you fancy staying by the pool in the evening. We loved this hotel and I cant wait to return next year with my husband.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Arcor Hotel. It really is just seconds to the beach, and the newly renovated rooms all have views of the beach. After spending a day at the beach, the wonderful gardens at the Arcor make for a lovely spot for shade. You can sit there, relax and enjoy a drink. This was just heavenly. The breakfast was very good, with gluten-free bread and a huge assortment of Greek and typical European brunch-style food. The pastries and croissants were scrumptious, but the coffee could have been better. The pool area is quiet with sun loungers and a small bar offering an assortment of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. Just outside the front door of the hotel is the bus for Skiathos port and also several restaurants within walking distance. The staff were really incredible, they made you feel so welcomed. Our flight was very early before the official breakfast time, but our waitress, Nektaria prepared a packed breakfast for us to take to the airport. It was such a sweet and kind gesture. Thank you Nektaria!! and thanks to all the kind staff at Arcor. Heidi & Peter

We stayed at this hotel for one week in July 2022. We had a fantastic holiday there. The management and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The views from the hotel are fabulous and breakfast on the terrace looking out to sea is a great way to start your day. The pool and pool bar are great editions to the facilities on offer and if you can attend the BBQ that the staff provide one evening a week - you will not be disappointed. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Skiathos.

This is a wonderful small and friendly hotel. With its beautiful beachfront location and close proximity to tavernas and amenities we were very pleased with our stay. Our room was very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was adequate; although an update was required. We had no complaints though as it had a powerful shower and fresh towels every 3 days. A good mirror with lighting for ladies when doing their hair and makeup. Our balcony overlooked the sea and beach, totally amazing and beautiful views. Breakfast had a good choice and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the Saturday night BBQ which was excellent with Greek dancing and superb food. The staff join in and make this a night to remember - so don’t miss out when staying there. The pool bar (open very good hours) and pool area can only be described as excellent. Pretty gardens surround this hotel which are well maintained. All in all a fabulous holiday in a beautiful location, superb hotel with wonderful staff. We would return without hesitation.
