Nestled on a picturesque beachfront, Princess Resort is lauded for its inviting atmosphere and proximity to local eateries and town access. Guests commend the hotel's exceptional cleanliness, from the manicured grounds to the pristine pool. The spacious rooms are a hit, though there's a call for additional power outlets and quieter air conditioning.
The amenities, including the plush sunbeds and pool, receive high praise, yet some guests feel certain services, like cabanas, don't match the price. The staff's warm and efficient service is consistently celebrated by visitors.

Detailed Reviews
We’ve just returned from 11 nights Bed and Breakfast at The Princess this is our second visit as had stayed last year . I was apprehensive about travelling at the moment but I’m so so pleased that I went . The hotel has sanitizer everywhere and has taken lots of precautions to ensure guests safety even though the island has had no virus cases at all . Our room was large , clean , huge bed, lots of wardrobe space and a big balcony . The pool was very quiet for our full holiday we actually had days when we were the only people on sun beds . Breakfast was different from last year as buffets aren’t allowed but it was the same excellent food only the staff served from behind screens . Still omelettes being made to order and crepes and lots of fresh fruit a great choice . We went to the beach on a quite few days ,the sun beds are new from last year and very comfortable . Lunch at the beach taverna PR Ammos was also excellent . I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough if you’re thinking of a trip abroad in theses troubling times. It’s spacious and clean with fantastic friendly staff . We love the location and even though the island is very quiet this year which did make it different we still had a perfect holiday .

Lovely hotel directly on Agia Paraskevi beach. We booked this two days before travelling as Skiathos appeared in a UK CoVid19 "travel corridor". The hotel staff did an amazing job. Social distancing was in place, and sanitising facilities were evident in all public areas. Everyone we encountered was charming and extremely helpful. We felt very safe. Breakfast buffet was all under glass, and served by staff wearing masks and gloves. Huge variety of food to choose from and all fresh and tasty. Guests were also very respectful and conscious of safety requirements. Our room (177) was extremely spacious, scrupulously clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a small private pool on our patio, as we weren't sure whether communal pools would be open during the current health situation. *Our only issue was that the shower was over a very deep but narrow bath with folding glass screens, I have mobility issues at the moment, and it was quite difficult manoeuvring in and out. NB: WiFi is extremely poor away from the main reception area, so switch it off and relax!

Stayed recently & there are good and bad points, but ultimately I don't feel the hotel is not quite a 5 star hotel.
Good points: grounds are really nice, pools are big & very inviting, apart from the aloof & generally rude reception staff, all other staff are very polite, helpful & friendly
I read some comments that the snacks, food & drinks were expensive but don't think this is quite the case, slightly more than outside bars and restaurants which I'd expect.
The beach is beautiful & during our visit there were lots of sun lounges. The hotel is literally on the beach, 1 minute walk from your room & your on the beach.
So the bad bits: when we arrived there was an issue with the electric door card & the room electrics, we basically had no electric for an entire day/evening so were unable to shower or charge phones. The best the hotel could offer was a complimentary drink in the bar!!
The breakfast is OK, not great but not quite 5 star either, quite basic
The room light switches were back to front & upside-down, so when we came in the switches were always on the on position & the first switch was for the bathroom, quite annoying but more importantly attention to detail. The bathroom handle kept falling off & the room air conditioning didn't work. Reported that it wasn't working but it still didn't work during our stay, it made a lot of noise but the room was very hot.
The rooms are so dated, very 80's, old fashioned hairdryer, very strange shower set up in the bath, the shower has been placed on the side wall & not the end wall which makes it a bit of a squeeze to get under.
5 star hotel & their idea of a completely mini bar is a fridge with four bottles of water that aren't even topped up.
Coffee & sugar wasn't topped up either during our stay
Cleaning ladies did the most basic clean, made the bed & replaced the towels. Complementary toiletries were not replenished either.
There is a children's playground which is beyond basic cheap & awful. They have put up a little white picket fence & gate & what looks like they've had a supermarket sweep round toys are us, basically thrown in a bunch of plastic outdoor toys, they really think this represents 5 star! Not very imagative.
The princess resort seems to be a chain of what seems most of the islands 5 star hotels, so even if you try another one of the islands top hotels, their probably going to be the same highly priced over rated accommodation.
If you do stay here, the beach, pool & grounds may make it a bit more enjoyable

We were relocated to this hotel this August, and a number of hotels remained closed this summer due to the Covid restrictions.
We were warmly greeted, and were upgraded to a suite. The suite was very big with a huge veranda. (All balconies and verandas face the sea). We had two bathrooms, a sitting room and a large bedroom.
Breakfast was served in the breakfast hall, with each member of staff wiping down each table and chairs, prior to sitting down. The staff in general adhered to all the regulations that had to be followed during this pandemic.
There is a regular bus service that takes you to either the town centre, or to the other side, Koukounaries beach. It was very half an hour, but stopped at 22:30.
There are some taverns around the hotel, should anybody want to try food outside the hotel.
The quality of the hotel food was excellent.
The service was excellent.
The spa was closed unfortunately, due to the pandemic.

After all of the uncertainty of whether or not our wedding would be able to take place during the Coronavirus pandemic, when we finally got confirmation that flights could take place to Skiathos we knew that we would have the most perfect wedding at the Skiathos Princess. We first met Nadia (the hotel's wedding co-ordinator) a year ago when we were last in Skiathos and from that moment, nothing was too much for Nadia. She organised our food tasting (which was amazing) and kept in constant contact with us throughout the whole lead up to our wedding which meant so much given the whole uncertainty. This was via email, phone calls and texts which really showed how much Nadia cared and wanted to give us the most perfect day. When we arrived in Skiathos, we had several meetings with Nadia so we felt completely relaxed when our wedding day arrived.
When we arrived at the Skiathos Princess, we were given an upgraded junior suite room and upgraded from Bed and Breakfast to Half Board. The food at the Skiathos Princess was absolutely amazing! With the half board option, we could choose if we wanted to use our meal as lunch or dinner which was perfect for when we wanted to go into Skiathos town for our evening meal. There was the choice between the pool bar and the PR Ammos beach restaurant as well as so much variety at breakfast time. There were lots of protocols in place to ensure that everything was Covid 19 secure so we felt completely safe the whole time we were there.
The day of our wedding was absolutely amazing and the beach venue looked absolutely stunning with the flowers and fairy lights. It truly was the wedding of our dreams. We had a Mamma Mia BBQ meal and the amount of quality food was amazing! Our guests continued to comment on how much food there was! As well as Nadia, the staff could not do enough for us and all of our guests.
When we returned to our room we had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us and then we woke up to a sparkling wine breakfast which was absolutely perfect for us to have whilst opening our cards and presents on the balcony.
It was the most perfect wedding and we are so grateful to Nadia and the hotel staff for making it such a memorable time and creating memories that will last forever.

Lovely resort and great breakfast but few things could have made better.
Our private pool wasn’t cleaned once during our stay. After two days it was full of leaves and muck which was really visible at the bottom aswell which made it quite unpleasant. For the amount you pay for those premier rooms I’d expect the same level of cleaning as the main guest pool.
Secondly, I booked a massage at the spa and once in the room and prepped I was quite shocked that a male masseuse came in to do the treatment(full body massage) as I wasn’t asked if this was okay as always at a spa Guests should be consulted on the masseuse if it’s to be male. I felt so uncomfortable and didn’t enjoy at all as I wasn’t relaxed and was quite irritated by the inconsideration. On hindsight I wish I had stopped and asked for a female there and then instead but that felt even more awkward.
Please consider future guests as not all cultures and females should be presumed to be okay with a male masseuse.

We’ve just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel on a half board basis . It was as perfect as last year which in this current climate is down to the hard work of the hotel manager and staff . We had a garden view room which was a good size with plenty wardrobe space , a large balcony , a huge walk in shower and cleaned every day . The breakfast choice is excellent with omelettes made to order as well as crepes and a great choice of fruit , yoghurts, cereal , bacon, eggs etc . The pool has lots of comfortable sun beds and the beach with even more hotel beds is a few feet away . You can always get a bed no matter what time of day . We had a few lunches at the beach taverna PR Ammos and the food is excellent as well as the service . The beautiful view makes it even more special. The evening buffet has a great choice of meat and fish with vegetables, potatoes lots of salad choices , great deserts and fruit too . My husband had soup every time we ate there as he loved it . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for its location which is right on the beach and in the middle of a small resort Aghia Paraskevi . There’s a dozen tavernas nearby and town is just 10 minutes in a taxi which the hotel are happy to arrange for you . It’s a great island which we’ve already booked to go back to next summer . Hopefully in June when we prefer to holiday .

A large group of 19 of us stayed at this hotel as part of a larger wedding party of 46. The hotel itself is great, beautiful beachfront location, pool area is lovely, clean and child friendly. Plenty of sun beds but think this may be to do with it being the start of the season. Food variety at breakfast and evening meal was good, although you do have to keep an eye on what drinks are being billed to your room. Not even water is included with your evening meal. Our party had a variety of rooms and one couple paid £1,000 extra to upgrade to a superior room, only to find out that the room was no superior than the rest. Slightly closer to the sea and a bit of extra decorative wood panelling in the corridors, that’s about it. Tea and coffee facilities in your room also needs to be better. What you’re provided with at the start of your stay is all you get unless you request more from reception. Housekeeping do not top up or refresh on a daily basis as you’d expect. Overall though, a very pleasant stay and would definitely return.

The hotel is in a 5 star location but the rest of the hotel is lacking a bit of TLC. We booked a double deluxe with sea view, we got a partial sea view but we’re told we’d been upgraded to a junior suite which just consisted of a bigger room with a sofa. The bathroom was definitely in need of an upgrade, dreadful grey suite. Housekeeping was sketchy, one day our robes (which were scratchy rather than fluffy) disappeared so had to get reception to bring more. Then a personal low value item disappeared and was located in the cleaners cupboard. You only get two sachets of coffee in the room any more you have to purchase and we were told it would be 5euros to bring it to our room so we went to the supermarket and bought a jar for 2euro.
We only had breakfast which was ok the hot food was lukewarm and not much choice in the cold section the meat was all processed, some fresh Parma ham and smoked salmon would be what I consider 5* at best it was a 3* breakfast, although the omelettes were delicious. The pool itself was clean but the tiles round the edge needed a good clean and the sun beds had seen better days. All in all if you keep your expectations to a 3* you won’t be disappointed.

Spent a week at this resort. Had a fabulous time. The hotel is right on a lovely sandy beach, with loungers, towels and umbrellas provided for guests at no extra cost.
There is an outdoor pool, but we didn’t use it as the beach was so nice.
Our room was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage space, a large bathroom and a balcony. The air conditioning was a bit noisy but kept the room nice and cool. We requested a kettle, this is free along with an initial few tea bags and coffee sachets, but any more are chargeable. There are 3 supermarkets within easy reach to buy your own at a much cheaper price than the hotel charges. Likewise with water, you get some initially included in your mini fridge but any more are charged. The safe is free.
The buffet breakfast was huge with lots of options, from cooked, to cereals, to toast, pancakes, muffins and much more. The buffet is also available for dinner, but we didn’t try this. The pool bar is open all day and lunch and dinner are served here, food is tasty and fresh and dietary restrictions caused no problems. There is also PR Ammos, which is the a la carte restaurant, right by the sand. Unfortunately, the food here seemed overpriced and dietary restrictions were difficult to get catered for. There are plenty of other places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, most of which are much better value for money.
Would definitely return.

Yes they do plus cups and coffee and tea . Mind we do bring our own just personal choice . We buy milk rather than the uht stuff .
Unfortunately not , it’s quiet around the hotel after dinner , bar & beach bar / restaurant is open .
There are bars / tavernas close by the hotel , the Plantanias restaurant / bar across the road sometimes has live music .
Hello,
no,there are no entertainment evenings for the children, but there is a playing ground with toys for the kids.
hope this is helpful
Hi…the hotel is pretty relaxed about outside smoking. It is Greece after all! Lol. Fine around the seating & bar area, pool & beach. However, I’m not entirely sure about the room’s balcony, which of course is outside and is privately screened off. I wouldn’t have thought that smoking on the balcony would be considered offensive. Sorry I can’t be 100% sure.
Hi
Not sure if the club rooms have been renovated, the rooms in the apparent new building are. The hotel does seem quite quick at answering emails, so you could just drop them an email and check
Hopefully they are.
We stayed in a junior room with private pool, although the room was a bit dated, the private splash pool was lovely
Anything I can help with just ask, we did have really quick easy & cheap car hire, if you need it
Have a fablous anniversary
