This was my third visit to Les Ages to stay with Paul and Pam. They provide an amazing experience. Fantastic, friendly, professional photographic tuition, geared to your level of experience and skills. Paul will ensure that you get technically great photos whilst encouraging you to look beyond the 'ordinary' shots! He has drastically improved my skills and confidence. He is a great teacher who listens to what you want to achieve and makes it happen. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It is their home as well and that makes it very special. The garden is lovely and eating outside under the gazebo or on the decking is so relaxing. Pam's cooking is amazing and she always cooks fantastic and healthy food using local and home grown produce. Pam can cater for all dietary requirements and adapts the menu to people's wants or needs. There is full access to a studio setting and an Apple Mac computer which is yours while you are there. So you can work on your processing and editing as much as you like. If you drive there, Paul and Pam can direct you to places to visit in the free time. If you fly there airport transfers can easily be included and transport throughout the week is provided for the photography outings. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul and Pam and it makes for a superb holiday. Can't wait to go back in 2019.

Pam and Paul are fantastic hosts and it was so lovely to come back again with my daughter for the third time, nine months after our last time in September 2017. It was so welcoming and so relaxing as we were also the only two guests. But I must say last year there was a third guest, a lovely Scottish man and we all had a fantastic time. Thanks to Paul, Photoshop is getting easier and easier to navigate. I wanted to learn about layers and colour popping and Paul gave us a very good tutorial on that. We also very much enjoyed taking portrait photos of the lovely Mary, a beautiful model, with the old streets of Perigueux as a background, what a fantastic combination!! Pam was as lovely as ever, prepared some fantastic meals and baking numerous gluten free and dairy free treats more than respecting my diet. We could go back again and again, and we most certainly will as there are so much to see and so much to learn in such a friendly atmosphere and we always are very happy with the quality of the photos we produce thanks to Paul’s advice.

After our initial trip, I was keen to receive more tuition from Paul and sample Pam's great food. Both were better than I remembered. Paul always makes time for individual questions and queries, even if they are a bit daft - how do I become a master of composition in a week? Paul accommodated our suggested agenda of taking in the Floralies at St Jean de Cole, which was a great day out. My wife and I are now on diet after all Pam's good food.

My second trip to Les Ages. Remarkable hospitality, excellent food, great craic and a week of photographic opportunities, learning and experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to the erudite enthusiast or the absolute beginner.

I spent a week in October 2017 with French Photographic Holidays at this wonderful place. I learned a lot from Paul to improve my photographic skills and Photoshop techniques. Paul is an excellent teacher and inspired me to try to look at my surroundings differently to get the best images. "Don't just look straight ahead, look up and down" But the beauty about the whole experience is in the hospitality that is shown to guests by Paul and Pam. The accommodation is excellent, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Pam provides delicious meals and the whole atmosphere is delightful.
