We stayed here before our trip to Glastonbury Festival. So we had some shut eye before we spent 5 nights in a tent!... We arrived late but rang to let them know and they were very accommodating to this. We arrived just before last orders so managed to have a cold beer before bed. We were going to miss breakfast... The wife and I wanted to visit Somerset so we looked at about four places to stay and chose the "Mildmay Arms", was we glad we did ? You bet we were. Arrived on Tuesday 14th at about 13:30 and checked in, we were greeted with a very friendly welcome from one of the staff, we were taken to the... More

We saw the Mildmay Arms whilst travelling through Queen Camel last week and said then we would come back to try it and we are so glad we did. The outside area is lovely and inviting and not too noisy with the road just in front. The food was very enjoyable . We had two courses for £12.99 and they... More

This was our second visit to the Mildmay Arms and had an excellent 2 night stay. Ian & Debbie made us feel really welcome. Our room was lovely and clean and the food, especially the breakfast was great. Loved the karaoke on Sunday evening.

We stayed over night to visit a friend in Queen Camel, we have stayed before and we know that the upgrade of the rooms and the general decoration have improved the enjoyment of our stay beyond measure. Sunday lunch and Monday breakfast were both of a high standard which we recommend!. Always before we have stayed in the double room... More

I visited here last night with a group of 18. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pub itself is beautiful. Very pretty wooden beams. Lovely tables. The rest rooms are even really pretty. The food was delicious. They did well to serve out 14 steaks so close together also. I ate the seafood tagliatelle and it was juts... More

We chose to go to the Italian night themed evening, The food was excellent, generous portions, and service was good, the owners had taken a lot of effort in decorating the pub/restaurant with bunting/flags etc

The pub is invitingly decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent supper - stuffed pork fillet which came with a delicious sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and veg and rump steak with all the trimmings. We were quite full but just managed a very good cheese and biscuits between us. Service was very good. Thank you!

We pulled into this pub on the way back to Yeovil from the Isle of Wight and we were impressed by the accommodation, service and food. Good food and generous portions at a very reasonable price; we will be returning

A lovely pub in Queen Camel. A lovely warm welcome and service. Great food, well presented but the portions are very generous and worth noting. Our room was a great size and the ensuite was very nice. Unfortunately the one thing that bothered us was the bed, it most certainly needs to be replaced, whether it's the entire bed or... More
