After a challenging day on the Roxburgh Gorge Trail I couldn't have ridden into a better place for the evening. Kim and Phil were tremendous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was great, bed comfortable and the food in their restaurant was really delicious. On a technological note - just because I know it's important to some -...

Stopped in here for lunch while cycling the Roxburgh cycle trail. Lovely surroundings, great host and food and drinks just when we needed them after a long ride. Recommended stop while riding this trail.

Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully decorated spacious rooms with super cosy , comfy bed. Great shower too! Most impressed with the very high standard of hygiene throughout the whole establishment. We enjoyed an early morning walk to the Roxburgh damp and then back for a delicious breakfast. Totally enjoyed stay here and will definitely be back.

We made a mistake of touring a week after the busy Chinese New Year. Luckily we managed to book into the Deluxe King Spa Studio Room for two nights. The king size bed gave a a good nights sleep. The room was stocked with the usually tea/coffee etc and having a refrigerator was useful. The bathroom was supplied with plenty...

This was a real surprise. A 5 star lodge hidden in a peaceful village. Phil was really helpful in getting our jet skis out of the water as close as possible to the lodge. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was superb with Kim serving up award winning dishes. Thank you for the brilliant stay.

We have been staying in motels in NZ for 1.5 months now. This one cost the most for the least. Smallest room, no microwave or toaster, security light just outside doors on all night. We couldnt cook so ate at the restaurant. Food and portions were great - but beware, taxes were added later to the already really expensive prices...

On arrival we were advised that we had been upgraded to a larger room as we were staying three nights. Kim thought we would appreciate this and we certainly did. Quiet location with good service, a well stocked bar and breakfast and evening meal menus with sufficient choice for most travelers. Kim & Phil are superb hosts - professional, courteous...

Kim and Phil many thanks for your generous hospitality. We had a very comfortable bed and the spa bath and toiletries added to the luxurious feeling. The food , wine and beer served were a great advertisement for our New Zealand produce. A most enjoyable stay. We recommend. Nelson and Carol.

We arrived having completed the Roxburgh Gorge Trail. Our first impression was the grounds needed some attention. Our room was small with ensuite, clean and tidy and a deck. No cooking facilities. We looked around Lake Roxburgh Village and this appeared to be the only place to stay/eat. The food was good but we felt it was expensive and once...

We arrived at Lake Roxburgh Lodge after a grueling cycle from Clyde. We were greeted by Phil and Kim at reception, and could not have asked for a more welcome greeting. We enjoyed drinks on the deck (per Phil's great wine/boutique beer recommendation), and then enjoyed a lovely home cooked dinner. Phil and Kim went out of their way to...
