Gran Hostal Tintotea is a great place to stay. Our room on the first floor had air-conditioning and a wonderful bathroom with a shower. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean and the included breakfast was delicious.

Room was clean. AC ran really well. Low water pressure sometimes but you just have to wait. No safe in the rooms. Breakfast pretty good: croissant (!) fruit, some sort of protein. Wifi in common area but spotty and slow. This seems typical of the islands so not sure if the hotel can do anything about it.

I was not happy with the tour because no one picked us up from the dock, and tour agent gave no instructions. Luckily I remembered the name of the hotel he said he booked. We didn't speak Spanish- a real problem in the Galapagos. Once we got to the hotel, everything was fine, they told us the times of our...

Not much to look at from the outside but the rooms were cool, clean and spacious. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast simple but filling. Isla Isabella is a beautiful place to visit and the pace of life is slow. Would revisit.

The best staff I've seen in a long time. Clean big rooms. Very high end for me.The manager speaks english and was real easy to talk to. They took care of us even though we stayed for only a night. would come back.

Stayed three nights at this hotel as part of an Intrepid tour. Was pleasantly surprised, as the hotel looked brand new. Staff were super friendly (even lending us towels for the beach), and our room was clean, spacious, and had great aircon. We ordered breakfast one morning ($7 USD) which was ample (fruit, rolls, jam, eggs, coffee). Super relaxed feel...

Of the three hotels we stayed in during our tour of the Galapagos Islands, this was by far my least favorite. My husband and I were assigned a room on the top floor with four twin beds. I felt as if we were hosting a slumber party. The room itself was clean but the grounds were dirty and littered with...

Dear friend: Thanks for your comment, it is very good for us to improve in many facts, but let me explain you some things. We have only 18 rooms, divide in singles, doubles, triples, and cuadruples. Your Agency made a reservation of 8 doubles, and singles, so we had to use the cuadruples to you. Sincerely i dont think that...

My husband and I stayed here last week on our trip to Isabella at the recommendation of a tour guide. It is simple, yet very comfortable and cool. On the islands, you will not find "resorts" so don't expect that type of accommodation. Carla the manager was terrific and took very good care of us, even knocking on our door...

This hostal was not 1 of our choosing as it was part of a package tour. So our expectations were not high. Our stay however was a very pleasant surprise. The location is strategically close to many areas of interest (but then again, it's a small area anyway). It's cute and cozy with a few hammocks strung on a post...
