The view from my room was absolutely stunning. Great location, friendly staff. We only spent a quick night and had breakfast, then left, so didn't really get to experience it much. But definitely worth staying for the view alone. Right next to the mangrove walk and tortoise centre as well.

After checking out of a nearby hotel that was unacceptable, Iguana Crossing was a dream. Clean, comfortable, beautiful rooms, nice breakfast, excellent staff, amazing Hot Tub and pool. So the downside, a weird shower. Have to repeatedly push button to get shower water. It is a real annoying water saving method. And lighting odd. But a wonderful place overall. Highly recommend

We were recommended here by our friends. It was perfect. The beach view was the best. We were in room #3. Pedro at the front desk is the man. We had layover time in Baltra and his suggested to go to the highlands and see the craters. He arranged our cab for the trip. Thank you Jonathan for booking our ferry rides and our breakfast for the ride over. The food here is excellent. Breakfast was included. The tortoise sanctuary is a short walk. Lots to see. I especially loved the marine iguanas. Definitely coming back and staying here again.

All I can say is WOW. Want to make the most of your stay on Isabella Island? Look no further- your prayers have been answered and that answer is Iguanna Crossing Boutique Hotel. We had to reschedule our trip due to Covid and the owner of the hotel, Felipe, was beyond accommodating. When we were finally able to go, he picked my partner and I up from the ferry, gave us a tour and provided tips of what to do around the island and just gave off a great energy to kick off the best part of our trip. His incredible staff of Pedro, Jonathan, Camila and Betty were able to plan and book all of our day trips for us. For such an adventurous trip- they make it easy for you to relax. The rooms are stunning, huge and clean with breathtaking views of the ocean. The Hotel is seconds away from the beach, the pier, Puerto Villamil town, bike paths and the Flamingo Lagoon. The food is amazing and bonus, they are one of the few places on the island that accept credit card. Also, no false advertising here in the name, there are literally iguana's crossing the streets at all times! Run, don't walk to this amazing hotel!

Family run hotel on the beach on the edge of Puerto Villamil, location could not be better, quiet location right next to the turtle sanctuary, the beach and the start of the roads to the Wall of Tears walk and Sierra Negra Volcano. The rooms are large, well laid out, have ample storage, great air conditioning and the 24 hour supply of complimentary coffee in the bar leaves nothing missing, the showers whilst a little fiddly do deliver unlimited hot water with really decent pressure. The views over the beach are spectacular, the pool is essential for the hot middle of the day and the bar has a good number of food option, the hotel whilst away from town is a 5 minute walk to 10-15 decent places to eat. The breakfasts were excellent with a selection of cereals, juices, fruits, European and American breakfast options, the quality of the breakfast was excellent, even our picky 9 year old left well fed each morning. The real quality of this hotel is however its people who are extremely helpful, this led to guests interacting more than is normal in Latin America. Would you trust this hotel with a segment of your a trip of a lifetime? Yes If staying on Isabella, this is the best option by a distance.

Very enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. Room was well appointed, clean and spacious. Staff helpful and friendly. Very good food served in the hotel restaurant (booking needed). The hotel is situated right next to the sea and although this is a much quieter island than Santa Cruz, there are plenty of food shops, cycle hire shops, cafes and restaurants, trip organisers (definitely take one to the lava tunnels), nearby. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at the Iguana Crossing hotel. The hotel is so cute, the food was incredible and our balcony room had a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel arranged all of our excursions, transfers and ferry boat tickets, which was a huge help. We definitely recommend staying there!

Our 5 night stay could not have been better. The property is beautiful especially considering the constraints on tourism over the last couple of years. Even better is the staff - hardworking and kind - so helpful and attentive. Would recommend without hesitation. Wi-fi/internet was spotty as noted in other reviews but you’re in the Galapagos! It’s ok to put the phone away for a bit 😊

This aptly named - marine iguanas were constantly marching along the beach and across the road - hotel is a very comfortable and well-run establishment. Our rooms had sweeping views of the sea and beautiful white sand beach. Our kids loved the pool. The included breakfasts were tasty, and the restaurant is quite good. There are also many casual restaurants and bars in the town within easy walking distance of the hotel. As noted in some of the other reviews, internet service is slow and unreliable, but this is due to the island's poor connectivity, not the fault of the hotel. Overall, the hotel's customer service is excellent. It's on the expensive side, but fairly priced.

My family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights Dec 31st - Jan 3rd. The name is perfect as there were marine iguana's crossing the road to head to the beach to eat. Our rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the pool and the resident dog. Breakfast was included every morning and was quite tasty. The shower was a bit frustrating - I think I would probably use less water if I was using both hands to wash my hair and body rather than keeping one hand on the button to keep the water running, but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't a big deal. The staff was very helpful - we'd just finished a 7 night cruise and had a ton of dirty laundry. They gave us bags to put it in and sent it out to be washed. The manager of the hotel picked us up at the airport and then dropped us off again on our last day. He gave each kid a key chain which was very nice of him! The hotel is a ways away from the "downtown" area of Puerto Villamil, but it's a pleasant walk.
