I went with my family and the idea of enjoying a few days of rest but in this hotel there are no rules for guests. 3 days of scandals by some guests who thought they were owners and no one from the hotel was able to stop the abuse. Music until 5 am, doors banging without consideration until dawn. WARNING: You have to know that if a friend of the owner comes to this hotel, they can do whatever they want and no one from the staff says anything. It was an unpleasant experience.

This hotel had a gorgeous view and a nice pool. The rooms were dysfunctional. The beds too short for most men. The closets not useable - doors stuck closed in all four of our groups rooms. The breakfast not good. Fruit either overripe or underripe, fake cheese in plastic wrappers and even the eggs were poorly cooked. It had a nice veneer but many aspects were sub-par which is why I see this as a three star option.

I honestly don't have words to describe the beauty of this hotel, the people working in it and the Galapagos Islands. The hotel is magnificent and the staff even better. My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights, and it is by far the best hotel in the Island. From the beginning, we were greeted very warmly and enjoyed the hotel very much. Located just across from the beach and next to a path used by the iguanas on a daily basis to go to the beach. The hotel is very cozy and relaxing. The rooms are very nice and large and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is just great. The Pool area is also very relaxing and you are also able to eat lunch there. The bar area is very nice and you are also able to enjoy dinners overlooking the ocean through the beautiful glass window. The quality of food is just superb with a huge variety of local and international cuisine. I recommend eating there. The staff working in the hotel are the best without a doubt. Extremely helpful and friendly, always with a smile on their faces and eager to help at all times, to make the stay even better. I encourage you to continue working with this dedication and passion since, the customers that come to your hotel will for sure appreciate it. You are just an excellent Team. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, Don Felipe, whom I can only say that he is an extraordinary person. Customer oriented, extremely friendly and also very interested to make our stay at Iguana Crossings an unforgettable stay which for us it has been. We will never forget our stay at your hotel and I can only recommend going there. Look nowhere else. Iguana Crossings is the place to be for sure. I do thank you for making our stay a true dream. Muchas Gracias a todos. Un abrazo, Jose & Emeline.

We recently stayed at Iguana Crossing and couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Everyone was very nice and accommodating and it is located in one of the best spots on the island. Easy access to the beach, great trails for running right outside the hotel, close walk to the turtle sanctuary, amazing wildlife everywhere...literally couldn’t have asked for anything more! Can’t wait to go back!

I chose this hotel based on apparently great reviews so I’m seriously wondering if other guests stayed somewhere else. It’s really dated, heavy brown furniture, really poor WiFi, no atmosphere, musty, dank and so loud due to all the A/C units on all the time. Thank God I had brought ear plugs to sleep as the A/C noise from other rooms is relentless all night. The view is amazing but that’s down to Mother Nature, not the hotel. The breakfast is an odd affair with very little choice - bad coffee, 2 juices, sliced cheese in wrappers, one choice of white bread, cornflakes, muesli, an egg station with nobody cooking (after 15 minutes a sulky girl arrived), one limp pancake up for grabs..you get the impression, and not what you’d expect for $300 a night! And that’s the problem with this hotel, very very expensive but nothing to back it up. At least they could put on a good breakfast but no, probably could not be even bothered as the customer service is non-existent (but that’s a general issue across Ecuador, not just here). Save yourself a small fortune and stay somewhere else!
