Really unhappy with this place. The rooms were dirty and the food was overpriced. The staff were shockingly rude considering how nice everyone on this island normally is. Not sure if it was a bad day or what but i ended up leaving after one night. The beach is awesome, however this place is not.

Koh Payam, at Aow Yai beach. After we checked almost every bungalows on the beach. Some place very expensive and not 24 hour electricity just open few time a day even air condition, some place have air condition and electricity 24 hour that you have to pay more because they are star hotels,. We choose Bamboo Bungalows that suits us.... More

Beautiful setting right on the beach but that's where it ends. Accommodation run down, poorly maintained and dirty. On checking in our room had dirty bedding, a mirror with splashes, a coffee table covered in a thick sticky substance and thick dust . It clearly hadn't been cleaned. I had to request a cleaner to put it right (although still... More

Stayed here for two nights, it was cheap and very beautiful location. Bedroom was good, had fans and a mosquito net; bathroom was not great, every single thing leaked so everything was wet all the time and ants everywhere. Staff was friendly though, we did the coral cave and Cheow chan lake tour, but our tour guide was very unprofessional... More

This is possibly the most hated accommodation on the island of Ko Phayam which is an amazingly friendly island. The rooms are a little overpriced compared with the rest of the beach. You pay for the decked restaurant which makes the resort look much posher than it is in reality. The real problem here is the owners. There is an... More

We visited bamboo bungalows for 5 nights. The place is very lovely and quite. Prefect located with direct beach front. Food and drinks are in good quality with fair prices. Nice and very friendly staff. Bungalow and bathroom are very basic but clean. No a/c but vent. Special thanks to Nicy and "little monkey"

We had a great stay and were made to feel very welcome. There were 7 children from 5- 14 yrs old in our group and they were very happy. Good food, simple, comfortable huts and lovely people. If you are fussy about air conditioning this place won't to suit you, it doesn't pretend to be a luxury hotel!

Sure its basic, but its basic done pretty well, I was there in the low season so had my choice of rooms and very few other people there. I chose the cheapest room just because it was right on the beach and the "basicness" just appealed. I've been in Thailand a long time and haven't seen this type of accommodation... More

We spent 3 nights here before moving across the Island to Buffalow Bay which in my opinion is a better location. Rooms are basic but clean and set in nicely maintained gardens. We were lucky enough to wake up to a group of huge hornbills in the trees outside our room. Restaurant serves decent food and drink & there are... More
