Stopped in Reefton for fuel and lunch on our way south to Wanaka. The town is historically quaint. Didn't stay at the BnB, but the cafe was fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating with a homey feel. A local meeting spot. We met a couple, the lovely wife the third generation in Reefton. Helpful staff, great place.

Very quaint. Comfortable bedding and on suite shower/ toilet. Very clean. Separate lounge area for TV although each room had its own TV. Wifi free. Kitchen attached to lounge. Law firm in 1887. Breakfast continental &/or cooked available - very nice. Really friendly hosts. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here in our way through to Hanmer Springs and Christchurch, and we had one of our favourite NZ experiences in this cute, quirky cottage. Firstly - the accomodation was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Secondly - I was sooooo happy to find 3 beautiful staffies to cuddle while missing ours. But by far the best highlight of our...

Looking from the outside the building looks straight out of a Wild West scene, but enter the 1860 built building and it is unreal, a credit to Barry and Sue they have turned this place into a fantastic B&B. Nothing is too much trouble wonderful breakfast and Sky was able to watch both of the first Superleague games this season The...

We stayed in the room with the safe bathroom. Had a wonderful time in this small town. Lots of history. The cottage was well located right in the centre of the town. Breakfast was great. Do yourself a favour and stop here you won't regret it

Stayed here on our way from Queenstown to Abel Tasman. The room was gorgeous: well-appointed, tall ceilings, skylight, new sparkling bathroom with plush towels. The hosts made a delicious breakfast in the morning, sending us on our way happy and well-caffeinated. Would have loved to stay longer!

Upon arrival we were a little apprehensive from the outside! However, this quirky exterior (and to some extent, interior) belied a welcome experience! The bedroom was clean with a very comfortable bed and a great recently refurbished bathroom with quality amenities. Breakfast was generous and smoked bacon to die for! The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Only slight downside...

The boyfriend and I stayed here for one night between Westport and Murchison and found this B&B as charming as everyone has said! The town of Reefton is basically a one horse kind of town (no stoplights to speak of) and while breakfast and lunch have lovely options don't expect much for dinner in these parts. The hotel is a...

Stopped over for a night with my wife, while travelling to Nelson. Reefton is a lovely quaint town, with plenty of pubs, restaurants etc. The Rose room was not large, but very cosy and clean with a newly refurbished ensuite decorated in a wet-room style. I would recommend another room if you have a lot of luggage, but cannot fault...
