I just had to do this! Sounds like that bride was just angry things weren't perfect for her wedding day. All weddings have issues and problems especially when they are destination style. This person is going to have a difficult life for sure. I was part of a group in 2012 that rented the Castle. It was one of the... More

My wife and I were married at the Cayman Castle on November 11, 2006. We have returned to both the Castle and the Guesthouse (next door) many times to celebrate our anniversary. While I have never met the owner (Jim) in person, I feel as if he is a friend. I have witnessed the improvements to both the Castle and... More

I typically don't write reviews however due to the owners negligence and simple greed our fairytale wedding was ruined. It rained several days prior to our arrival and the ceiling leaked all over the place and more importantly on the kitchen cooktop which was electric causing a very hazardous condition. The ceiling was falling in so we knew that it... More

WOW! THIS WILL BE A LONG RESPONSE! AMAZING STORY (It is just a story). As manager and owner of this property; I feel I need to respond to this scathing and personally insulting review. Her review is so full of mis-truths and omissions that it is obvious her intent is to harm not only the Castle rentals; but anything associated... More

I rented the castle in April 2014 for a large family gathering. We had a wonderful time, the house is just spectacular, and a perfect venue for a large group. Jim and his staff at grandcaymanvillas.net were fantastic to work with throughout the reservation process. The home was well kept and well equipped with everything you needed for a grand... More

My wife and I, spent a wonderful week here back in 2012 and loved it so much we came back in 2013. Our agenda, Dive, Dive, Dive. relax, relax, relax .This place makes it so easy to do with two dive shops a few "foot flop" steps away. After our day blowing bubbles, we jump in the infinity pool to... More

Our extended family stayed at the Cayman Castle for a week at the end of March 2012 and it was absolutely amazing! There were 16 of us in total and we rented the main castle and the guesthouse, and everyone fit very comfortably, with lots of privacy still! The youngest in the group was 6, and the oldest was 86.... More

Why stay on 7 Mile Beach crammed next to thousands and bombarded by hoards of tourists clamoring off the cruise ships, when you can stay on the quiet East End. If you want the Vegas strip on your vacation then 7 Mile is your place. However, if your idea of a vacation is a beautiful quiet scene where your family... More

Our family stayed here for 10 days in July 2008. We had both the castle and the guesthouse. The location is great as long as you don't mind driving a good distance for restaurants, shopping, etc. It is quiet and peaceful on the East End of the island. The castle and guesthouse are spacious and have beautiful views of the... More
