A beautiful beach with an amazing view but that is where all the magic ends. I don't even mind that there is no running water and no ac but the beds are made out of wood with a little bit of mattress, the food is average to bad( when they actually have what you want) and the staff are friendly... Gorgeous beach, simple lifestyle and great vibe. Very rustic but the view and the atmosphere are great! Plenty to do or do nothing - it is all up to you! Book the villa if you can as they're a bit nicer. Take any drinks you need but juices etc are yum

Manana is a small beach with a few huts dotted along and a main dining area. All very basic but just perfect for spending a few quite days relaxing on the beach. Accommodation is basic but as you will be spending very little time in your hut then this doesn’t matter. The staff are very reserved and unobtrusive here. If... More

Beach heaven, literally. Location is a bit hard to find but it's not hard once you get the direction from Nani. Staff from the jetty are more than helpful to assist. Room are very basic but it's very charming especially the hammock. Food range from local Malaysian food to western food with fries. The staff speak good english. No phone... More

This truly is a tropical escape - hammocks, a beautiful white-sand beach, incredible sunsets, warm sea, monkeys in the surrounding forest and nothing to do but chill. We had an amazing welcome, even though our flight had been delayed and we arrived later than planned. Highly recommend this place for true relaxation. Transport to and from the beach was well... Was really looking forward to staying at this idyllic beach resort but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations - why? firstly we did not feel very welcome at all - when we arrived we were not sure if we had a villa to stay in as they seemed confused about our reservation - when we were allocated our... I'll begin with the few positives that I experienced at the resort: 1. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I found the food to be pretty decent. Full of flavour and reasonably priced. 2. The prices for the food and drink are fair, being that Sabah is by no means cheap, 7 Rm for a beer is pretty good... More

Basic backpackers as expected which is fine, and no wife/phone reception also isn't a problem. There is a really strange atmosphere at this place though, and we felt pretty unwelcome a lot of the time. A young Danish couple run the place, one of whom was friendly but the guy was really unhelpful and rude. Some of the kitchen staff... More

I am used to staying in backpacker, dorm type facility for my diving trip. But this time I was lured to splurged more money to stay at their "villa". It has attached open air bath, comfortable queen bed with mosquito net (for the bed). Other than occasional mosquito, there is not much bugs crawling around. No aircon, but the fan... More

Felt like millionaire! Been there for 2 nights 3rd-5th Sept stayed at Tent (camp) its really amazing. No regret for no coverage (looks very difficult for Apek, Ella, and the crews) no phone call, no Instagram, no Facebook, no whatever. It just you, crews and new friends! Good time with abang Yan(owner), Pak Cik Ali, Ballack, Babu, and other crews!... More
