Randy, the manager, Alvin the chef and the rest of the staff are friendly, considerate and helpful but there is a limit to what they can do about the state of the property. When we arrived the mosquito net in our chalet was full of holes, the replacement net had fewer holes and after the first night of finding it... More

If you're looking to get off the grid and chill out, Manana is the perfect place. The beach is pristine with white sand, hammocks abound and the water is stunning. Accomodation is pretty basic, but clean. The outdoor courtyard/bathroom for the beach-front chalets is actually pretty cool. There's not much to do here but chill out, read, swim, bronze-up and... We booked 5 nights but we only stayed 1 night. It wasn't a good fit for us. From waiting 1.5h for the boat to collect us, to dumping our luggage in the boat filled with water, to not so quiet and clean rooms. The island is beautiful, the people are very friendly and helpful, but it just wasn't something for... More

I love this place! I've been at Mantanani island and the experience is quite the same, except that Manana is much closer than Mantanani. Manana is a true getaway for a true traveler. No internet, no nothing with only basic electricity and it is only you and the mother nature! Resort staffs are very friendly, very helpful and they share... More

The island is abit difficult to find, but like what someone told me, if you're not meant to be here, you wouldnt be. :) Ive got to the island safe and sounds. And the waters were super beautiful, turquoise mixed with emerald green. I was alone, and bracing myself for what looks like a quiet night. That is, until I... More

Stayed for 2 nights at Manana in one of the Chalets. The accommodation was basic but adequate for our needs - A small wooden chalet on the beach with a fan, a mosquito net (though thankfully we didn't need this!), a private bathroom (albeit with no door), and a comfy hammock on the porch. Your bags might get splashed on... More

We came to Manana without looking at T.A - lesson learnt. We are a family of 5, so the three teenagers stayed in room 6, and we stayed in room 5. They are a joining - with a shared toilet etc. See pic. What you can't see is although dirty - there is no water for shower sink or toilet.... More

We stayed there for three nights. I also did my Open Padi Diving licence with the diving company there (Bigfin Divers). First I would like to say that if you want to go diving, they are definetely the right choice. They are outmost helful, knowledgeable and their equipment is up to standard. Ok now lets get to Manana. So you... More

First of all the good bits - nice setting. Now the rest... I was really looking forward to staying here and had booked one of the 'villa' rooms for 3 nights. I had looked at their website before hand and so was expecting something basic but clean, with running water and limited electricity. I don't think I'm too difficult to... More
