This is a very clean but frankly unremarkable establishment (apart from the prices). There is a snobbish attitude from the moment you arrive which is very strange considering it's a two star hotel at best. The rooms are tiny and the sound proofing was missed on the build. The food may be good but the prices made an evening in... More

Stayed here with my wife on the return trip from Provence to the UK. It's a tough one this as there wasn't anything wrong as such but it was a forgettable stay apart from the cost. I have no problem paying over the odds for exceptional quality and this auberge does offer quality but it is not exceptional by any... More

It is a very good hotel, Room we stayed in was nice and clean with a good size bed . Restaurant was very nice with food of Michelin Star if that is what you are looking for. We loved it! The Lady at reception was very hospitable and happy to help. The 2 Young Men Waiters and a Young Lady... More

A logis de France a bit in the high range, especially for the gastronomic dinner. Big room and big bathroom at ground floor, all clean, a bit labirintic plan from the reception. On the road, but quite, once closed the double windows. Outside the village (not even seen the village, actually), but not far from one of the lakes of... More

We chose this hotel after reading how good the food is and we were not disappointed. The 62eu menu was excellent, well presented and cooked to perfection, though the better wines were relatively expensive. Continental breakfast more than adequate, though would have preferred more of a help yourself buffet style rather than a pre-prepared plate of meat and cheese. Our... More

Had no where booked for a night but came across this hotel as we did a few years ago but from a different direction, and were pleased that we did. The room was fine, a modern hotel -- nothing special. We had a wonderful meal here on both occassions. Order a drink appetizser and get some fine nibbles with it.... More

We booked his as a first night stop on our way to Switzerland, glad it was only one night. The room was worse than a basic premier inn, the sound quality was atrocious we could hear running water most of the time from the plumbing. As someone else said its for the food really that makes it worth staying, it... More

It makes sense to stay where you're eating and drinking, but this Auberge (15 minutes walk from the lake and 30 min's or so from Troyes) offers clean, compact rooms with facilities in a quirky building of some character. Breakfast choices arrive all at once from a continental menu, in a spacious, interesting architecturally breakfast room for Euro 13.8 ('Confortable'... More

We stayed here en route to the South of France from London. The perfect distance, three and a half hours drive from Calais, by the lake, so good for a swim after/before long day's driving. Hotel is comfortable, clean, quiet and staff very pleasant, and the cuisine is simply outstanding. Our holiday began here. Very close to motorway which makes... More

It is in a great location. Very convenient for journeys through France north to south or to the mountains. It is also just a 5 minute walk from the lake. Food is good and pretty fine dining which is reflected in the price with an emphasis on local produce. Breakfast was nice (again the emphasis on local produce) but I... More
