Dropped by for Sunday lunch today with my family and we all left very happy! The food was great (especially the homemade pies) and the portions were seriously big (I eat with the best of them and still took half of mine home!). Staff were also all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend 👍

Walked to Kettlewell during their scarecrow festive, which was well attended, drew in the crowds and raised a lot of money for good local causes. We sat outside the Bluebell, along with many other families, to enjoy a good pint, food and the fantastic weather. Unfortunately the day was ruined by the attitude of one particular local; obviously a regular... More

Turned up after the scare crow festival for some pub grub and we were not disappointed the pies were a proper portion and I couldn't finish it.Prices were also good.Only criticism only one high chair in the whole place. The beer is also top.If you want to see a proper example of a British pub that hasn't been destroyed yet see... Great food, great beer, warm welcome and dogs allowed. Fabulous traditional Dales pub. Amazing value home made soup and fresh bread sandwiches. Fine selection of real ales, at least seven to choose from. Enough said! Will be back soon. ....

There is a humours sign outside saying 'children tolerated' and from meeting the elderly barman - (possibly landlord), this statement is true. Visited several times last weekend and had wonderful drinks outside and ALL the staff were so helpful and friendly. Amazing. Visited Monday night for Steak Night. Elderly barman on- asked for high chair - very dismissive, verging on... More

To start... beer was spot on... no problem with service either but the fish pie and the plate it was served on were not good at all. The plate looked like it had been removed from under a plant pot with brown staining around the rim. As for the pie. The filling was nice but mush potatoes were just that,... More

A celebratory meal with our DofE Students after the Successful Gold Expedition. For 10 years we have been booking into the bluebell for our final evening meal. 9 of us + our dog, always welcome. Reserved table ( booking for groups only) very good food, all cooked very well, plentiful and promptly serviced by pleasant staff. Would recommend

Hmm, were to start! We arrived in Kettlewell after a hard day on the Dales Way and it was just starting to rain! We received a very friendly welcome and it was nice that free tea and coffee (proper stuff with fresh milk) was available in the bar at any time. The room was disappointing - it was small and...
