This is a charming small hotel in the true French tradition situated in a village but standing in its own grounds. The staff are lovely and the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good indeed. We shall return.

Came in middle of winter, almost had the place to ourselves. Got a room on top floor at back as advised in Guide Routard, but I think in January there isn't any traffic so would have been happy in any room. Had a delightful dinner with attentive service, splendid breakfast, and the bill was so reasonable I tried to add... More

The hotel was typical of an old grand French house hotel of 20/30 years ago. Not a complaint ,if you like that sort of thing and I do. We had a room with a 4 poster that nearly filled it and with that wonderful wallpaper that only the French seem to choose. The restaurant was in a newer building but... More

I reviewed this hotel in July 2012 and returning from another trip on the motorcycle I stayed here again with some friends. I was given the same room overlooking the garden & tennis courts which is perfectly adequate. The reason I chose to return is the food - we were on the demi pension tariff and had a choice of... A lovely, character-full hotel with great atmosphere and very friendly owners. The restaurant was very good and would definitely sleep and eat here again. The pear and chocolate tart was absolutely amazing.

We have recently stayed here in a group of 13. We had a very warm welcome and found the rooms clean and comfortable and our shower was excellent. We enjoyed our food and found the choice at breakfast very good. Bread was warm and very fresh. We would stay here again if in the region

I stayed here on the last night of a motorcycling tour with a group of 12 like minded people. The rooms vary in size, mine was fairly small but had an adequate double bed and shower room. Others had bigger, more elaborate rooms. The hotel provides covered parking for motorcycles and the gates are locked at night - just make... More
