What an amazing resort! For one it’s absolutely beautiful, well kept and safe. The food is excellent and drinks are excellent. It has an amazing gym and so many restaurant options. It has healthy options as well. This was hands down the best resort experience we have had. The staff is all so friendly and helpful! Team Shutters and Anthony and the gym staff were outstanding, mainly the spin instructor and yoga instructor.

The resort was fantastic. The customer service and all workers were phenomenal. Our butler Luis was great, he did everything to our liking and was always a step ahead with our service to make us feel comfortable and welcomed.

We visited Punta Cana with family and friends and stayed at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana luxury 5 star hotel. We had a fantastic experience. The hotel is a huge property with tons of amenities. We had an ocean front king room and were assigned our own other butler Juan who was a great help. He arranged all our dinner reservations, transit to and from airport, golf outings etc. The restaurants on the property are really good. We enjoyed the food buffet and services of Maria, Grammy and Manuel at the Piers restaurant. Enjoyed Caribbean Peruvian food at Shutters with great service from Edward. Delicious streaks at the waves steakhouse. Devoured good French Tahitian good at Brando's with great service from Martin. The one eyed cat Martini bar, the sports lounge, Gabriella's lobby bar and the tipsy cafe all served great drinks. The infinity pool and hot tubs are excellent with lots of cabanas for relaxation. We got massages at the Larimar spa which was excellent. Overall we had a great stay. Highly recommended!

If you want to know what this place is like, I recommend you read my review as I cover everything. It was my first ever time visiting the Dominican Republic and I was not sure what to expect. I was celebrating my anniversary and have never been to an all inclusive. Upon arrival, we were given excellent service by Jeffery by the front desk, and tried his best at giving us an upgrade we wanted. The rooms itself were beautiful. Everything felt very clean, organized, spacious, and the view was awesome. The guy who brought out luggage up, his name started with a C, he was fantastic. He gave us a tour and we were so thrilled to start our vacation with him. Rating the resort: Pool 4.5/5. The Zilara pool was beautiful and had an amazing view, however the seating around it was way more limited than the Ziva side. The cabanas were mostly unused and took up quite a lot of space. I understand there was a 40% capacity this week, but they weren’t used much. Otherwise it was extremely clean. Jefferey at the Reef Bar was awesome. I looked forward to seeing him daily and he made anything we desired, even went to some of the restaurants to look for ingredients he did not have accessible. Between him and the cleanliness, the pool was great. Restaurants 4.5/5. The restaurants were all great. The variety of food at this resort was incredible. We ate at Journeys, Brando’s, Navigator, Waves, Shutters, The Pier, Tempest, and Moments. The staff were all so friendly, the food was the best resort food we have ever had. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and not lazily put together. 95% of the servers were outstanding, the other 5% seemed a little quiet and confused. Otherwise most of the food was awesome and we were upset to run out of time to try them twice. Rooms 4.5/5. The rooms were beautiful. The views were great. Housekeeping kept a clean place. However we felt this was the weakest part of the trip. The resort expressed its “turndown” amenity, and we found we did not receive this. They did replace our towels daily and restocked us. There was nothing wrong with the housekeeping whatsoever, we just felt it was the most “normal hotel” part of our trip. Nothing spectacular. Staff 5/5. The staff were the highlight of our trip. Everyone was extremely generous from the concierge desks, to the cigar shop, to the restaurants, bars, etc. Everyone was courteous. Jefferey at the reef bar was spectacular. Santa the drink waitress at the pool always got our drinks. There was another girl with a name with a D at the beginning, who knew my order every morning. She was also amazing. Everyone was so sweet and kind. However, the real highlight of our trip was at the One Eye Cat. This bar was incredible. The drinks were amazing and the staff were outstanding. I have to say, Fraudicio & Jaimon especially, were the best. The two of them were my favorite part of my entire stay. I’d look forward to ending my day with them. Whatever the resort does, please keep Jaimon. We are coming back to this resort, partly because of him. That guy deserves a raise because this place should not want to lose him or you may lose customers. He was awesome. Lastly, Juan at the Spa was fantastic. We did the hydrotherapy package and he was so amazing, he took pictures, guided us through, and we enjoyed him so much we are going to go back to the spa multiple times when we return. Entertainment/Amenities 5/5. This was another 5/5 score. Between the live music, Michael Jackson performance, bands, activities, etc. There is never a lack of things to do here. We went sailing 3 straight days, attended the concerts, went to the water park and lazy River. The spa was also spectacular, we highly recommend. Everything was just so fun we could not get enough of it. This place had endless things to do, and we loved every second of it. Overall 4.7: overall, this place just weeks after suffering a massive hurricane, was everything we read about. My girlfriend has been to the DR 4 times now at 4 different resorts, and she said this is a place she will return to. This place was everything and more. I advise the upper tier of Hyatt do not change anything about this place. I hope they continue to care for their employees, especially the ones listed who made this place what it was for us. We would love to come back, and we hope to have an even better experience the next time we come. We would like to thank everyone for everything, as it was truly sad to say goodbye.

It was our 3rd times to here. About 5 years ago, we had stayed another hotel, but it wasn't good experience. Therefor we hadn't travel to DR a while. But Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is always exceptional, I would say this hotel is top notch! This hotel is one of our favorite hotels in Caribbean. Our purpose of visit to DR is just stay this hotel. Yes, we are so addicted !! to this hotel and all employees of Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. Our reservation was 2beds JR Suite, (1KING was not available when I made reservation), so I wanted to change room category from 2beds to 1king upon checked in, Front Desk staff Gamaliel was very assisted well to us, and he gave us 1KING JR Suite Room. He was so flexible to helping us, Thank you Gamaliel! All employees are so kind and so friendly. One of Entertaiment member AMADO, he remembered us, and he always feel welcome back and one of hotel families. Chief Concierge Mr. Domingo Beltre meet and greet with us when we arrived at hotel, he gave us his cell number and business card. He said, we can contact to him whenever we need any help and assist. After checked in, he walks through to the room with us, chatting and gave us hotel update information. After that We needed to some information about hotel, he right away responded even after his working hours. Another day, We had met very tiny and small incident with Cabana Reservation , We contacted to Mr. Domingo, he contacted to Head butler Manager Carlos Rosalio, Mr. Carlos come to see us and fixed everything. After that, Mr. Doming Beltre and Mr. Carlos Rosalio very taken care of us entire our stayed. Once again, Thank you so much for all employees of Hyatt Zilara Especially Thank you so much to Mr. Domingo Beltre, Mr. Carlos Rosalio, Amado (Entertaiment Team) Gamaliel (Front desk Staff), Patric of The Pire Restaurant, Mr. Felandos Vargas & Danny our Cabana Waiter!! I can't wait to stay again.

The hotel service is incredible, since we arrived at the hotel all the attention was excellent, I really liked the music and the sound was spectacular. The food was excellent in all the restaurants. The drinks were excellent and all the guys were great fun and always made us premium cocktails. Maria, Marino, Francis, Micheel, Santo, Kelvin, Juanito, Roberto, Willi, Rocio, Santa, Mayreny and Antonia. The pool activities are excellent, the painting class with Arturo, Anterito, Franklin and Amanda, they were very dynamic and we enjoyed their company. Right from our arrival we were taking care like VIP's which we were not! The kindness of all employees were totally amazing. Our room (ocean front) was breath taking and all services were top notch. Our butler Ezechiel was very kind and help us in all the needs we require (reservations, room requirement etc..). The food was awesome in all restaurants and watch out the choice of restaurants are impressive. The lobster (extra fee) at the restaurant WAVES was delicious...and the nice thing is no need to rush for reservations with a lot of capacity. If you go at the beach no need to run to find a spot because they have plenty of chairs and DANNY will serve you the best drinks. The team at the coffee shop in the lobby level will serve's you amazing Latte's with a smile (kudos to Solange's team). In brief we just loved everything and will be back very soon !

We had a fantastic time on our trip and are already planning our one! The hotel was so beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our butler, Jones, made us feel so welcomed. When we got turned around Maria at the Rum Bar went out of her way to walk us to where we were going. The cleaning staff were amazing and even left us some extra water bottles when they noticed how many we were using. Freddy led an excellent cycling class and the spa staff were phenomenal. Overall, it was a few of the most relaxing days we've had.
