Lovely place to stay, characterful chateau with attractive, peaceful grounds in a stunning location. Close to junction 32 of the A75 (our satnav took us off too early at junction 31, may need to watch out). Very welcoming, and we were given an upgrade in the chateau rather than the room we had booked in the annex. Due to the Covid situation, there was hardly anyone else staying there and the staffing was limited. There are interesting and quirky artworks in the hotel and grounds. We enjoyed drinks and 'apero' outside (including a whole salami in a special slicing gadget), watched over by some friendly donkeys from across the water. We had a good table in 'isolation' in a small turreted area of the restaurant, which has two forks in the Michelin Guide. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. A very enjoyable and relaxing stopover, very French and just what we needed after a long drive.

A strange mix of what appeared to be an old building with eclectic furnishings especially in the junior suite we occupied which had a bath for ‘two’ and required a high level of dexterity to gain access! Being close to the motorway but far enough to guarantee a peaceful stay was a bonus We were surprised that this was the first hotel we have ever stayed in that deliberately does not have any tonic water to go with Gin! The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb.

Stunning location very close to the main road but extremely peaceful. We had booked into the orangerie but were given an upgrade to a spectacular room with a turret sitting area overlooking the surrounding countryside and the beautiful pool. Stefan and his team could not have made us feel more special and the evening meal was delicious paired with very lovely wines

Great experience at the château. Beautiful setting. The staff is very professional and yet friendly. Our bedroom was spacious and very clean. The hotel is very stylish and is full of art pieces throughout. Breakfast was continental buffet style. The yoghurts were delicious! We really enjoyed our stay there and wished it was longer than one night.

This is not a particularly ancient chateau, but in beautifully landscaped grounds and close to a major north/south autoroute, it is a phenomenal find for travelling gastronauts. We have stayed here three times, the third occasion in September 2018. On previous visits we’ve been accommodated in the Orangerie (a few yards from the main chateau). However, upon arrival this time we were shown to an exquisite room inside the chateau at the top of one of the front towers. (Lift to all floors) The decor and furnishings of the chateau are beyond stylish. Every area: meeting areas, foyers, restaurant, bar is styled lavishly and richly. Comfort and superb care and service must be the guiding principles behind the management of this place! The restaurant offers gastronomy above and beyond so, so many well known Parisian or Dijon restaurants. There is an extensive and expensive wine list to match some truly inventive menus and dishes ... far too many scrumptious things to select any one above others. Fine, classically inspired cooking at its absolute best. The hotel hosts several young students entering the hospitality industry...they are lucky indeed, have superb tutors, are well-briefed in helping visitors and providing service of the highest standard. A splendid hotel, one of a very few considered ‘extra special/luxurious’ by the managing group of Logis de France.
