Costa del Sol Hotel is a small but comfortable hotel located in middle of town of Bahia de los Angeles. The hotel is constructed with super insulated walls, making it nice in summer and winter. We have a nice and cozy restaurant with the best food in town, we concentrate on quality. Soon we will have a swimming pool. Best hotel in town.

Exactly what you need from a hotel in a remote town. We looked at Guillermo’s too but this had better mattresses, newer building, better layout. Breakfast was not included but there is decent food you can buy.

I have been here a number of times and feel comfortable here. Clean rooms, nice staff/owners. And the big dog's name is Scooby? Restaurant is nice, and lots of natural light coming in the windows. I didn't try this, but I think they will cook the fish that you catch in the bay. Hotel can fill up during some fishing events, so don't assume there will be a room available. I'll be back on my next trip.

We stayed at the Costa del Sol hotel during a seven day motocross tour from Los Cabos to Ensenada with Go Baja Riding. We had an exhausting day of riding, making it across the peninsula twice in one day, so pulling into Bay of LA was a welcome stop. As soon as our group got into Costa del Sol, the staff brought cold beers and guacamole out to the tables as they put all of our bags into the room. The hotel's resident dog, Scooby, is a massive great dane, and he walks around like he owns the place. There is WiFi in the main lobby, but it starts to taper off as you move away so if you are able, request a room as close to the lobby as possible. The room we stayed in did not have air conditioning, but the cold air off the Sea of Cortez cooled the room down as the sun set. We had a fantastic dinner out in the garden where the service was top notch and the food quality was very impressive. The hotel is located on the other side of the main street in Bay of LA, and has fantastic views of the bay and the mountains around it. They had coffee ready for us at 6am and a wonderful breakfast at the bar at around 7am. Great hotel if you are doing a bike tour, met several other riders from the United States and Canada, and nobody raises an eye when you start up in the morning.

We didn’t stay in this hotel (we got ripped off at Los Vientos instead...) but we came to eat to the Costa del Sol Restaurant the 2 days of our stay. This is probably the best place we ate at in Baja California if you do a food quality to price ratio. We tried Mexican food, we had take aways, and we had an amazing American breakfast with omelette and big pan cakes with maple syrup. Yummy ! We are French, so pretty hard to satisfy when it comes to food but it was a pleasure to eat at this place, on the little terrace outside. The service takes a little long but everything is freshly cooked. And prices are really « muy barratos »!!! :) We highly recommend breakfasts and other meals there !
