This is a great home base for exploring the wine route. You have a lovely view, plenty of space in the suites, and it is very quiet and relaxing. Sebastian takes very good care of all of his guests, including booking any reservations you might need investigating train times, parking, etc. The 'light up' candles at night in the room bring a lovely ambience and I would imagine in the winter it would be also gorgeous. I have mixed feelings on the price - it seems high- I understand you are getting a whole apartment, and very personalised service, but it just seems a bit overpriced.

This hotel deserves 10 stars. So my husband Bo gave 5, and I'm giving another 5. :-) My husband and I stayed in the Panorama Suite from July 21-28, 2018. There are so many things that we loved about the chalet: - BEAUTIFUL CHALET The Panorama Suite is huge. It is a sizable one-bedroom apartment with a living area, dining area, and full kitchen. It is so comfortably big. I feel like I'm coming home every time I get back to the "suite." The decor is modern, new, and absolutely beautiful. The view outside the window is breathtaking: 180 degree of Alsacien villages, vineyards and mountains. - INTIMATE AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE The hotel owner Sébastien is gentle, friendly, and professional. He is best BEST host we've ever met. He brings us breakfast every morning, he greets us when we leave the chalet, he welcomes us when we return. He helped us book a doctor's appointment, tennis lessons, and all the meals during our stay. He is just the nicest person, always smiling and so genuine. AND he is talented. He actually designed the chalet himself. - ATTENTION TO DETAIL The cleaning service is impeccable. We always return from a day's activities to the cleanest and most tidy suite. Lovely chocolates are left for us at night. Thick foam floor mats are placed beside our beds. All amenities are 5-star luxurious. The cleaning service even helps us organize our stuff a little bit so that the suite looks tidy morning and night. (Highly appreciated!) Everything needed is thought of and provided, including a high efficiency washer/dryer and laundry detergent. If there is one fault at this chalet, it is that it is too big, beautiful and comfortable. We almost don't want to go out to do sightseeing! We just want to stay "home" and enjoy the lovely chalet. Thank you, Sébastien, for the perfect stay in Alsace. You are THE BEST! We really appreciate you and your family! Jenny and Bo

I booked this hotel/apartments by phone last thursday, and I was told to send a confirmation by email. I did so. I then got a question from them that I answered quickly, and I also sent my creditcard-details, accepting to be charged 50% of the stay. I asked them to confirm back, but nothing happened. I called and wrote several emails, and 2 days after, I got a respons saying they did not get my mail and now was fully booked, sorry. What I think they should have done is to cancel somebody ells´s reservation and tell them they made a mistake. I did not get any message from my computer that my email failed to reach them, and even when they said they would try to fix it, I had to call and send emails to remind them to answer. Very bad costumer care, we will not try to stay there again.

We stayed at Le Chalet & Spa for 2 nights After spending 2 nights in Colmar. We did this to tour the Alsatian Wine road by car without the hassle of driving in and out of Colmar. What a delightful change of pace from Colmar. The Chalet opened in 2013 and is completely modern like a ski lodge in Vail Colorado. We stayed in the panorama suite with beautiful views from up in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains . The beds were Very comfortable and the shower and bath excellent . Breakfast was served in our room every morning. There is a Spa with sauna and a jacuzzi outdoors on the balcony which we enjoyed while looking down on the lights of Colmar at night. The suite was spacious and clean , such s nice change of pace from staying in a city . The owners ‘ son Sebastien DuPont took great care of us, texting me about our arrival time and offering to make dinner reservations in the nearby village. He even did some laundry for us in a combination washer/ dryer In our suite. There is a kitchenette as well. Overall an oasis if calm and luxury after a tiring day if touring. Highly recommended
